Static Blue - Aerial / Magic Waters

Hey everyone,

I haven't posted anything here in a while now, so I thought I would share some clips of 2 of my latest productions.

Aerial is a relatively anjuna-ish uplifting tune that finished some weeks ago.

Magic Waters is a guitarish track with a more balearic feel and was made a little while ago

I'm currently looking for a label for those tracks, I hope you enjoy them !

If you have some suggestions they are very welcome.

Aerial nicely produced, predictable. recipe trance.

Magic Waters this one is definitely the better sounding of these two.. the guitar sounds very real.. and the whole production is lush and after the guitar break you decide to skip the guitar when the beat enters.. which makes a good contrast. after that its sounds pretty nice.. i like how it all sounds.. I dont see why no label would want this one. the name is very suitable to the track as well.. and i like those subtle melodic sounds you got in there as too.

Magik Waters was very good.. definitely the best ive heard you written so far. as for Aerial, you might as well put it for free download right away, or consider it a candidate for the recycler.

Aerial, nice tb's and pads, melody seems cool, into the breakdown, very trancey!. Really diggin the melody big time, percussion and bass are cool. More effects are needed imo to give it some drive and atmosphere. Great mastering etc but this still needs work!

Magic Waters, Loving the percussion, kick is really punchy! bass is really driving! not a fan of the melody buildup or pad notation, althought the sounds are cool. Love the guitar hehe, again more effects and change the notations around.

Aerial - I love the pads, very airy. The bassline doens't seem to fit though, it breaks the mood a little bit. I can't hear much of the percussion either. Good track overall, sans plus.

Magic Waters - Nothing to fault here, except for the clickyness of the kick maybe. Gorgeous pads once again and that guitar is just so smooth.. Definitely the better track of the two. I'd just add an additional synth during the main section, Midway/First State style, to make it slightly more intense. As a whole, this is a fine piece of trance.

Hi there 2 more great sounding tracks, I enjoyed both of them especially Magic Waters, this is the style I love - melodic yet pumping I really enjoy your work, I think I might have used Going Home in my last mixset. Good luck on getting these released, can't wait to use these tracks in future sets so lets hope we don't have to wait too long for a release

Aerial sounded a bit generic to me. Nothing really stood out. However Magic Waters is sweet. Almost Chicane-ish in style. Great guitar work. A downtempo version would be pretty cool.

Bassline is cool... great sounds in the break - later it sounds indeed a little bit too generic!

Magic Waters:
The song and especially the guitar sounds great! I haven�t anything to criticize...

Btw, both tracks are mastered really well!

Magic Waters:
The kick is kinda hard. Maybe it fits.
The guitar is great. I like the lead though it's not wide enough.
Good piano.
This is a true uplifter.
It lacks precussions & fxes.

8.5/10

Aerial:
Well nothing impressive at all.
Good production.
This one lacks precussions & fxes too.
