Closing out 2006 in style Habit returns for a huge festive special on 8th December - The Xmas Ball. Featuring the peerless Matt Rowan and Jaytech who return from a 6 week international tour for their 3rd appearence at Habit this year, Chunkee Record's Mojo, a special piano classics set in Second Nature from the mecurial Tom Da Silva, and 8 other DJs, live acts and entertainment this will be one memorable experience you don't want to miss.

Matt Rowan and Jaytech will provide some of the finest uplifting prog you will ever hear fresh from an extensive tour of the Americas that has seen their global reputation enhanced even further. After a spell-binding back-to-back set at Habit in August and a string of gigs overseas since, the boys are ready to deliver again at the Xmas Ball in a much awaited home-coming!

We are also delighted to bring an undiscovered gem to Habit for the first time in DJ Mojo (Chunkee Records). A Mojo set is an unforgettable experience featuring decks, abelton and effects units, his unique sound touching on all genres and delivered With tremendous stage presence and unbelievable mixing ability. His recent 6-hour set at Interview in Melbourne earned him rave reviews - this guy is possibly the most exciting new talent we have come across and urge you not to miss him!

Also in main room action another stunning talent and Habit ever-present Adam Jace, who has delivered a series of magical performances behind the decks this year, as well as Jimmy Dau who again has shone repeatedly at Habit with his ability and consistently top class sounds. Hosts and resident the Santa Claus Habit DJs round off a speaker bending front-room line up.

It's a similar story in the second room for Second Nature with the richest display of talent yet in action. Heading the bill welcome the mecurial Tom Da Silva with a special piano classics set. UK ex-pat Tom has DJ'd everywhere from London to Stockholm to New York, and brings an unrivalled energy and passion to his craft that match his infectious personality.

Also Second Nature will feature a live late-night band performance from OP Funk who will be revealing their latest musical creativity, as well as DJ sets from regulars Mish, Andy B, GRAB, Nathan Bolling and Foundation. Have some of that! Never have such a rich offering of DJs and musicians performed together on the one night in the back room.

Entry for the Habit Xmas Ball on the door is $15. A limited VIP guestlist of $10 entry is available - this is expected to fill up very quickly, so email names through to [email protected] as soon as possible.

From everyone at Habit - merry christmas!

nath it was you who brought mojo's cock up... so to speak

as for stealing the CDJs someone already beat you to it - the CDJ200 in the back was actually nicked at the last habit. Come to think of it can you account for your movements between 9pm and 11pm on Friday 10th November ??

got some nice 1000s out the front though
