It's been fun.....

Just dropping in to let you guys know I will no longer be posting on TA. I will continue to post as a promoter and dj, and represent Sonic as I always have but my random postings on here will be no longer.

It has been brought to my attention that some of you feel my presence on these message boards is conflicting being a promoter. Just know that I never intended on abusing my privileges on this message board.

I'll still be at the parties, still be in touch, and I'll continue to try my best to offer gatherings that feature some of our best dj talent on TA... but that will be as far as it goes. I have wasted some quality time on here, but don't regret a single minute of it.

WTF?? Has anyone noticed that since the discussion about 'dj lingo' etc. that there has been far less postings on here?

Jeff, I don't know who/what/when/where/how this has come about but it is ridiculous that you feel you can't participate as a punter as well as a promoter/dj. Who the fuck is playing message board God (note: THAT title belongs solely to Swamper)?

I think I am done with TA too, I didn't realize it was so political.

To be honest Rachel, this raised some concern for me - but to be honest, I have felt like this for some time now. TA is no longer a commmunity it once was. It is filled with gossip, backstabing, and uncalled for behaviour that I personally do not want to associate with.

I love many of the people on here as good friends, but there are those who I could definitely live without. This ultimately will be best for not only my personal life, but business as well. Those who I want to continue friendships with, I will certainly do so.

I'd argue it's the best it's been, the girls shindig this past weekend, or our constantly growing group events (BBQ's, etc etc) are just small examples of why I think this is the case.

Not only that, but if you truely believe this and TOTA meant that much to you, why give up on it?

Isn't this always the way? Assholes act like assholes, and all the cool people go running for cover. I say fcuk that Jeff. Ultimately it's your decision, but it's unfortunate that as so often is the case, a few people with nothing better to do ruin a good thing for everyone. I'm fairly new (lurker) to TA, love the forum, and enjoy reading your posts and opinions. It disappoints me that this has become such a pervasive issue that it is forcing you out. Bullshit I say. Bullshit.

If things are so bad as to push long-time TA'ers out, what chance do we stand of attracting new people into the forum? Sad, really.

I'd hate to see you go because of something like this.. I always thought you contributed a lot to this forum

its a cycle ...all us oldskoolers have been phasing off here one by one and new TAs join...u cant be on here too long...this place has honestly become VERY boring (imo at least) and people on here are shit (well most of em) YEA I SAID IT

The problem with "It's been fun..." threads is that, often, they put an end to the fun.

thats where i think the problem lies. everyone only reads negativity on the forums and because the cool people are all hiding when we need them to voice their opinions to balance things out.

as for this thread, it is a PMS bitchfest.
jeff, you're cool and all but the whole "some people dont like me. you will all cry when im gone" *slams door on the way out* is a little old. if you really did plan on leaving TA, i think it would have been best to keep it quiet and only tell the ones that you care about. this thread was meant to cause drama so that doesnt make you any better than the others.

Jeff! Can you PM me your digits...I want to put them in my phone as I usually only contact you thru TA.
