Is Silent Cry [Original Mix] and My Galaxy [2000 Extended Mix] the same song because the rips sound exactly alike except for the fact that Silent Cry is 10:05 and My Galaxy is 9:52...could someone please clear up my confusion

i'll make sure liquidxxd responds to this post (i.e. fire & ice addict), but to clear it up quickly they are not the same song.

hmmmmmm.....my, my galaxy is 8:01 and silent cry is 10:06 but they both sound different

ok, i cleared this question up with jurgen leyeres because i had it myself onetime. my galaxy 2000 extended remix is teh same as silent cry. it only got mistaken like this because on the back of the forever young vinyl cover, it says my galaxy on it(apparently a mistake by the art department), when the track is really called silent cry. the reason that rip of my galaxy 2000 extended remix is shorter than silent cry is because the pitch is pull a couple percents. and silent cry is not a remake of my galaxy, according to jurgen leyeres. my galaxy was on the neverending melody vinyl, the one right before forever young, and it is around 8:06 long according to the vinyl, and has in the middle of hte song, someoen says. "to my galaxy, i take you, to re-energize your soul"

BTW... u know.. I likw a lot the Fire & Ice track supostlly called: Forever Young(Magik 6: Track 5) .. but i have downloaded some files.. and is not the same song that Tiesto played at Magik 6... does some1 knows what is the name of the Track 5 of Magik 6.

yea, that track, the real name is silent cry, like these guys were talking about here, i guess they got confused when making the cd cover, becasue silent cry is on the flip side of forever young, so yea, that track is silent cry

nope the song was mislabelled a lot hehe. my galaxy is totally different than silent cry. i have both choons. both great songs tho.

CarlosM the track on Magik 6 was mislabelled. you're looking for fire & ice - silent cry

So the CD cover for Magik 6 is misslabeled? I always thought it was strange cause the version of "Forever young" i have doesnt sound like the one on magik 6....cool anyway
