Eventful Days

Crazy as fuck.

I was expecting a normal day in the office today but far from it...

Got a global e-mail off our new company president about two hours and half ago, to tell us that a fairly big account is not doing business with us any more, to add to that 6 members of my team do dedicated work on this account. My senior manager found out about this at lunchtime was due to debrief us, so we could break the news to relevant people in quiet meetings. It's anarchy people are obviously furious at how the news was communicated and pending outcome.

An hour ago one of our directors collapsed on the floor (suspected stroke) and has been rushed off to hospital.

30 minutes ago the police turn up at my work, the road outside is swarming with cops the whole of central Northampton is gridlocked, because some selfish cvnt is standing 10 stories up on the bus station threatening to throw himself off.

Do you ever get days like this?

i guess they are not on salary those guys.

Well, this one time when I held a bus hostage, I was sitting in my apartment. And the bus couldn't go over under 50mph, or else it will blow up. I put cameras all over the place, to make sure no funny business was taking place!

Eventually they tricked me by looping the video feed and they all got off the bus. I got pretty pissed off after that.

so far, i've just been bickering back and forth with my boss because he's giving me shit for wearing jeans today even though i explained to him that today is kinda like a friday since there's no work tomorrow, which brought us to arguing about having friday off (he's canadian) as well as thanksgiving...which brought us to arguing about how he should give me my pay check today, which brought us to arguing about "white women" only take take taking...etc...

yea i could seriously strangle him sometimes, but i'm sure the feeling's mutual.
