Cattaneo in OC SD and LA

Hernan 3 days in a row, sickness. I will likely go to Vanguard to check out the soundsystem, but how is Tentation for anyone who's been there. Its close to me so I'd like to go hear Hernan but if the venue is random then maybe not since I have finals coming up the week after haha.

i'm going to see hernan at vanguard for the first time. i heard vanguard has the best system, which is required if hernan is going to be playing and not anything less than that

i've been to tentation once and its a nice comfy place, a little small, but crowd is cool

You are correct about the sound - they recently installed a new sound system and it is rediculously bumping.
If by not a bad crowd you mean, the girls are outrageously beautiful then you are correct.

Since capacity is limited, aside from buying a ticket via Groovetix, whats a decent time to show up to assure not only entry but a spot closer to the dj (aside from showing up late and elbowing your way to the front)?

get there at 945. you wont have a problem getting up close to the dj. the booth is on a platform about 3ft tall. you are very close and you can easily shake hands with the dj. the djs walk RIGHT IN FRONT of the booth to get to it so you can greet them as they walk by.

Was planning to go see Hernan tonight, but had an extended power outage and the UPS didn't last long enough; all my servers crashed.

I got most of them back up, but one of them it seems that the RAID controller fried. I opened up a ticket and I'm waiting for the tech support response...

I'll probably have to mail it out tomorrow.

Anyone done holiday shopping yet?
