I still have NES and there's no way I'm selling it. I made that mistake long ago and had to buy it back. I'm still missing over 100 games, the gun and wireless controllers though :*( I had made the biggest mistake of my life selling all of those.
SuperNES is one of my favourite systems!!
I have just about every system, save for the xbox 360 and the ps3 ... they're just too damned expensive.
However, did you know if you get the Wii, they are offering a service where you can play the oldies via their online gaming world? That's right, you can purchase a Wii, sign in, and start playing ChronoTrigger, faster than you can say "spaghetti noodle."
Here's some trivia... in which EDM set do you hear the opening theme song for ChronoTrigger mixed in?
Hope you find a SNES!

i dunno the emulators play the games almost if not perfectly now... any real need to have the actual hardware for this anymore?
/went emu back in '98 and gave the snes hardware to the nephew
//he's broken it already
Wii want to play
get a wii, you can download a few games for all the old school systems, including turbograph 16. Im impressed so far with the wii, the control is wicked now it just needs some proper games.
NES how i dont miss blowing the hell out of those games to make them work
SNES was great!
or get a psp if you want a snes handheld, get all the emulators dating from atari to ps1 and have fun.

Stores that'll sell you an old SNES console (among other old-school systems) include:
Microplay in Square One - 905-273-6777
Game Now just north of Dundas on Winston Churchill (beside Little Ceasars) (www.gamenow.ca)
Dixie Flea Market, a woman named Yulanda runs a gaming stand
Gamerama 2370-a Yonge Street, right under EB Games
Video Games Plus 934 Wilson ave - 416-636-5774
Video Games Plus 377 Burnhamthorpe - 905-803-0754
Other options include:
Getting a Nintendo DS and a flash card (ebay) and downloading an emulator and ROMs
Downloading an emulator and ROMs in general and playing from your computer
Buying a PSP and downloading emulator and ROMs
Buying a Wii and downloading games onto the Wii via Nintendo's Virtual Console
As for the N64 questions.
Any of the stores I already listed will carry one, but Mario Kart 64 could be a harder find, it's one of the few great games for the system and is somewhat rare compared to what the casual gamer might expect. I had to goto a few stores just to find Mario 64, so while Mario Kart should be around, call around first before wasting a drive
Damn, people i LOVE Nintendo! i have NES, SNES, N64, still earn money on Game Cube and Wii. Only Nintendo can make best consoles in the world.
The easiest way to buy some old systems is ebay! Here in Ukraine i can buy those consoles for peanuts.
I bought a few years ago in shop new GDs for Dreamcast for 3$ each. I'm collecting consoles and games for them. Also have all ROMs on PC. Best game on SNES is Donkey Kong Country 3. It's such amazing game. But best game ever for me is Dizzy series on ZX Spectrum. Who remember Dizzy???

Donkey Kong Country 3 is ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ad |
When i was playing DKC 3 it was just unbelievable feeling. I do not tell then many awesome games on SNES were shit, but that game made biggest impression on me since Adventures Of Dizzy. Besides from your list i didn't play Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 4, Final Fantasy 6, Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, UN Squadron & Gradius 3. I don't like RPG much. But i guess TNMT i would play. I like a lot those TV series , also remember on NES. Awesome games i can also remeber from SNES are Battletoads & Double Dragon, Black Hawk, Michael Jordan, Pilot Wings (launch title, but such original and awesome game), Star Wars, Earth Worm Jim, Mortal Kombat 1,2, Killer Instinct, Super Mario World, Lost Vikings 1,2, Rock'n'Roll Racing (i played that games on Sega near a year, everytime from the beginning
), Stargate. That was gold times. I wanna buy all games on SNES when i get enough money.
