Lcak of shows in Edmonton?

There has been a decline in shows (club events) this year in Etown and im just wondering why? Do the big dj's not want to come here anymore? Lack of promotion companies? WTF. It just seems like a downer year. Anyone else think this way? I think we need more. Good Djs are in the country all the time and are not stopping in Edmonton.
BTW Armin is a good start for hopefully a better year.

There may be a lack of big names these days, but the smaller parties put on by GOMP and THC are great.
