doesn't it suck

when you dont even go to see the dj's u want to see because our clubs suck so much. i still blame it all on system closing and TIL opening. i have more fun on thursdays than i do on fri. or sat. in one of the big clubs. support local unknown dj's because i think that is the best thing this city has right now.

i dont care how bad the club is as long as dj worth it

YA! footwork is cool but im talking about the bigger clubs...i should definately start going to footwork more than i do though

I said it before here in a thread similar, and I will say it again. Your time out is what you make of it. When Im with my friends, and the music is good, and we are out because we want to have a good time, not much stops me from having a good time. Theres no crowd that will make me not enjoy the music and my friends company.

A few negative events in a night, whether it be some asshole in the club, or an asshole bouncer, is not going to make my night crumble to peices. Get over it, learn how to enjoy what you are there for.

For me, its my friends company, and the music.

We are getting to be a bunch of spoiled brats here in Toronto. "you dont know what you got till its gone"

Dont take for granted we live in an area with tones of talent rolling through it each year. This is the place to be in Canada for EDM fanatics. Remember that.

With that being said, if a DJ that I REALLY REALLY love comes to town, Im not gonna say "fuck, im not going because its at (post club here)"

I have had some not so spectacular times at various events and venues, but nothing so far has made me think that I will never return to that venue.

So, what your trying to tell me is that even though you like the music, and even though you like the company and you have a good time, you WONT go see your Fav DJ because its at a certain venue?

You are correct, I dont see your point at all. And what makes our clubs so shitty? Please enlighten me on why the city of Toronto has clubs that "suck".

I just cant dissagree with you any more than I do. Ive been to lots of different cities in North America, and been to lots of clubs. Your wrong, our clubs dont "suck". On the contrary, we have some of the best clubs in the world.

I think your spoiled.

I used to be an Idustry regular, for 5 years it was the only club I went to. It was my home, and Industry regulars will argue, just like System regulars do, that it was the be all, end all of places to be in the city. You dont see us all shambled to peices not knowing what to do with ourselves.

I think you just havent found your new haven yet. I dont want to sound abrasive too much, but your argument isnt sitting well in my stomach, esspecially since I have nothing but love for the scene in this city.

ahhh yes...you make a very good point so i guess i should point out that this is my opinion. well i guess it just seems to me that people at system knew more about the music. i hate being at TIL when a dj is trainwrecking and the person beside me is going "isnt this guy awesome!!!"....i dont know maybe im out of line but everyone has there own opinion. i used to have a lot more fun but now i regret going out most nights. thats all im saying.

Good point, I see that alot, but as EDM becomes more comercialized, and popular, you cant esscape the uneducated crowds. I try just ignore the ignorance, and at least I know when I hear good music and so do my friends, which in the end, are the only people that matter.
