The Hot Drinks Thread
Sipping on some cocoa right now.. Perfect for the weather. It's rare I go a day without having both green tea and cocoa. Chai, rooibois, oolong, black, are all wonderful too. Coffee's nice, but not often because it makes me too fucking tweaked, unsweetened with cream.
What are your favourite hot drinks? Recommendations? Also, anyone tried that 'mate' stuff? My local health store carries it and I've been eyeballing it.
hot chocolate milk with sweetened wipped cream, or a nice cup of thee with honey and lemon juice,
I enjoy green tea, Earl Grey tea, hot chocolate and cup-a-soups.

Absinth + cement + ethanol ftw.
As a Russian, strong black tea is a staple drink for me (pretty much after every meal at home). A nice bright Ceylon blend is perfect. At places that only serve commercial bag tea I order an earl grey, cos you pretty much can't go wrong with it (never order the english breakfast cos 9/10 times it's only good with milk - which is a travesty).
During uni or work I drink a crapload of coffee. Usually short machiato or occasionally an espresso shot.
But lately I've been drinking lots of green teas. Jasmine scented Chinese green teas and Japanese Genmaicha are probably my favourite from the green teas at the moment.
edit: Oh yeah and a nice homemade chai masala with plenty of leatherwood honey is fantastic before bed.

Cocoa or tea. If you want alcoholic drinks then cocoa + mint (or raspberry liquer) + whipped cream, or Irish Coffee.
-French Vanilla Cappaccino.
-Hot Chocolate
-I don't drink Tea or Coffee (aside from the FV)
/makes a hot chocolate

Actually not, because the founder of Banania dedicated the cover to the skirmishers (not sure about the spelling) of Senegal.
I thought that too before I knew the story behind.
^^ do they have that banania stuff anywhere but france? i've never seen it around here.
hot honey milk tea with pearls
there is a cold version of this drink as well
I've been on a big hot chocolate kick lately.
Nothing exotic in the least - microwaved water with a packet of swiss-miss emptied into it.
Really great considering how cold it's been here lately - it's like 40-60F degrees at night!

Nothing like a hot cup of hazelnut flavored coffee with french vanilla creamer and a spoon full of sugar

Aveda makes this really great organic herbal tea, flavored with licorice root. It's fucking expensive, but sooooooooo tasty and soothing.
Black tea with milk and sugar. On occasion throughout the winter (see: if it snows or is within a couple days of Christmas) I'll drink hot chocolate.
Horlicks, If you know your shit, you're a horlicks man.
Decafinated tea, with sugar & milk. Warms us up on our cold cold winter days. Occasionally drink decafinated coffee too, with plenty of milk
