two reasons why i came out tonight after a long absense. one of them was BT. fucking guy is pulling a PVD "oh i'm too cool to come to the guv"

other than that the night was great. mr.pete tong did a job well done, nice opener with the mix of pete heller's simpler. that song is being overused but still sounds awsome everytime i hear it.

nice to see familiar faces again, it's been a while.

nada and jenn you girls were missed! and wtf i'm not a part of amsterdam crew?!?!?!

Fuck it was busy in there last night, wall to wall every fucking room.

Tong was good times for the hour and a bit I saw him. Played "Proper Education" amongst many other bumping and crunching tunes.

Despite having serato (or is it ableton) to save his ass from botched mixes, I still felt like his flow was out the window. (but hey, I expected that) Long live Tong, he's a fucking legend. (and Karlo, no I didn't hear your tune)

HOWEVER

The party as per usual last night was both in the Drink (M&S destroying that place every time I see them there, I think I like them best in this space) and the Gallery...

...I caught half way through Simon Jain's stormer set into the Vinyl Junkies' 2 hours of madness (they had the room by the balls throughout, something I've now come to expect from them as well these days)

ps. I was glad BT wasn't on bill, can't deal with that shit anymore.

Just got home from Cherry Beach. Tired as hell! Will post my review later.

Best part of the night was finally meeting Darouge and his crew and chilling with them.

Pete Tong played well, but it doesn't make up for the fact that I went there to see BT!!

But still, shit happens, and he better be here soon!!

SoSo nite

We got there at 10 pm to see all those NO BT signs but we decided to check out Pete Tong anyway...He was spinning an "ok" set...I preferred the tunes pumpin out of the gallery though ...GAYest part of the nite is when Guv security walked by me telling me to put my camera away..." NO PICTUES" ....Well I promptly IGNORED him and took some great pics and videos too

My highlite of the nite was running into Natalie (didnt see Graham though )...and to chat with John Tang for a bit ...its been a long time since I've seen you guys...

Anyway I hope that BT will re-schedule and make up for the no-show

forgot to mention that the sound in guv mainroom was horrible, unless I was near Tong and could hear his monitors the tunes were super muffled. Only low end.

i find that with guvy you have to be within the dancefloor rectangle to hear any decent sound. anywhere outside of the box and it sounds just as you were describing.

Sorry wasn't feeling it last night

The crowd was BRUTAL. Ive never seen it that bad. I had to move 3 times from where I was dancing because the people were so fucked up it was stupid. I havn't seen a crowd like that before.

Overall, the music was so so. His mixing wasn't great and he played way to british for me in my opinion. Few good tracks.

BT not on the bill ruined the evening for me at least.

Overall one of the worst nights ive had at the guv, esp in the long run.

Only thing good ofcourse was the TA's, though it took an hour to find anyone.

haha cherry beach is alllways good after guv..... even when its snowin ..

it was an ok nite, I got bored alot and ended up takin a nap while iw as at gallery (my first time nappin @ guv lol). Didnt stay in the mainroom that much, pete tong wasnt really doin it for me..kindda boring. Spent most of the nite at Gallery, which was ok.. better than the mainroom.
