rumour: addy & sonic?

there is a rumour going around right now regarding addy leaving Ink (guv/thisislondon/dragonfly/etc) and becoming a resident at sonic.

THIS IS NOT TRUE.

he is simply taking time off since he hasnt had any time off in about two years.

does this mean he will be sitting on the beach sipping margaritas? no.
addy is keeping himself very busy with being in the studio full time and working on production. im listening to something that he is working on right now which features a local male vocalist. its smooth, groovy, proggy-type of house. he has a number of tracks that are on the 'to do' list.

i hope this clears things up for some of you.

also Ink is the parent company owned by charles khabouth which owns all his businesses. www.ink-00.co you may have noticed the Ink logo on every flyer for Guv or This Is London or Dragonfly...

Can I ask why you say this? In terms of being a DJ he is absolutely amazing. Though he has had his bad nights, he is always pushing his sound further and is extremely aggressive. I just wonder what you hate about him soooo much?

Politics and rumours aside, it's good to see Addy taking some to produce. With a full schedule of 'day time responsibilities' and weekends of spinning to get the "brand" out there and recognized, it's a wonder that the resident DJs get any time to produce at all. I give kudos to Addy for taking the time off to focus on producing. That time off doesn't come without a personal cost to the DJ, and obviously, these rumours are some of the evidence of that. I can't wait to hear what he's been producing, and I'm even more eager to see him back in the scene soon. I'm still pumping out his Guv10 mix in my car on the way to work... killer stuff.
