DJing Artwork?

I decided in my two days off from studying to do a quick painting, does anyone else have any cool posters or paintings related to Djing in their room, I'd like to see it.

Cheers, J!

sounds neat, i just love having a bit of cool artwork on the walls. I'm sure other people have some stuff and they are too shy to show it!

I have a few posters from Ibiza. I can post pics later if you want to see them.

A couple of sleeves in frames- nothing else music related.

I have a couple of (real!) Banksy's on the walls and various other graffiti/street art pieces too.

When I was younger all of my walls were completely covered in flyers

Wow, where did you find/buy the ral Banksy's , and what are they of?

And i totally love that Sasha pic, what's the name of the website that does that thing with the posters, splitting them up so you can a4 print them?

Here's my promo graphic from last month. One of my friends made it who is really talented in this stuff:

That's very cool. I've got a few mixes i've not stuck on TA yet that i think are worthy to be on there and i'd love to make artwork like that for them.

Sweet pic. How'd you put that together? Use something like the Rasterbator (I think that's the name, free online program)? I have some pics I want to turn into big posters like that but I'm not sure how to do it.

Posted by AnomalyConcept on Nov-29-2006 07:04:

I'm pretty sure it was Rastebator. At least, there was another post from a while ago with an "artistic" shot of a Technics Rastebated poster. Perhaps it was in the 'Post pictures of your setup' thread.

As far as things hanging on the wall, I have nothing. =(
I also don't really have any mixes worth posting, but they are available online if you know where to look. >_> Friends seem to enjoy them, though.

I did make a CD for a friend's birthday present, and I do think the cover/insert turned out quite nice. =)

Ah man, I've been looking for a big version of that for ages. I even talk about that one shot (I think it was originally from DJ Mag?) in the book (how it made me drop ash all over the decks as I wanted to try to emulate the same thing. Funny, no one really obiged in lighting MY Marlboro for about 30 mins!

Great shot.

For those asking about my bedroom wall, use the site http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/

Be warned, I used up 3 black ink cartridges on my old Canon bubblejet printer!

that's the highest I got

also if you're going to do any djing artwork don't be an idiot using photoshop filters exclusively...
Having a computer, photoshop or whatever other piece of software does not make you a graphic designer and as such if you don't have the extensive knowledge necessary to produce quality work for your cds and various promo needs you'll fail at coming across seriously in most cases.

Rasterbator is brilliant!

Cheers for that. I actually found it on the photographer's site right after I posted that message. He seemed pleased that I'd referenced it in my book.

And don't worry - I'm no fool when it comes to photoshop etc (well, I'm a TV editor - make of that what you will...)

Thanks again.

Thanks! Here's a more complete shot. I live in a shitty dorm so I need something to spice up the walls.
