Working after partying
so my friends always tell me that i never have to worry about work after partying cuz i dont work til 3. what they dont understand that its not getting to work thats the hard part, its staying up til 11 that is. so what i want to know is would u rather work early and get it over with or would u rather work in the afternoon and try to stay awake?
Definitely go to work ASAP.
Two years ago I did landscaping in the summer. I would go out on Saturday night(or sometimes start Friday, depending on what was going on), go to the Zone for a couple hours Sunday morning, then hit a boat cruise that same afternoon, back to the Zone, then to Pulse till 6am. When 6am came, I would get in my rental car and drive back to Barrie...and go straight to work LANDSCAPING IN THE HOT SUN for 9-11 hours. LOL.

Glad I dont work till Monday mornings, so never an issue.
I find with one night's sleep usually for around 6 hours, and I'm fine monday morning, even though i partied all night saturday night and just chilled all day sunday drinking.
Yeah I LOVE having Mondays off school! I hope I get the same time-table next semester.

man i came home @ around 6am on saturday morning after TiL and I was @ work by 9am
*hardtimes*
i used to be able to pull stunts like this all the time when I was younger but it gets more and more difficult as I get older and older ... so I guess what i'm trying to say is I need to do this as much as I possibly can before I really am too old to pull things like this anymore!

many many many... too many times i've left fly @ 7, poped home for a quick shower, and was in the kitchen for 8. on a sunday morning

If one misses work because of partying - then (IMO) one needs to seriously evaluate their party lifestyle.
Have fun, rock it out, party hard -- but don't make choices that consistently negatively impact other aspects of life.
There is life beyond partying.

Yup, totally agree with RJ.
Partying is my reward now. I don't go out unless I have ALL my homework/assignments done a WEEK in advance. It's actually been really good for my grades!
yeah i use to do the stay up all night and then work .... and after a few years i had enough i can't do it anymore my job requiers for me to be mentaly alert and i can't handle dealing with bitchy customers when i'm sketchy it effected my productivity so much that i don't party anymore on days were i have to work the next day
none of the jobs i do i can do at all tired or sketchy. might as well stay home.
i used to be able to work after partying but now i feel horrible the next day so i don't bother. sleep is so important for me.
