Nice to see some pics from Saturday. Thank you, Don I had to miss the event because I was sick the whole weekend

Posted by TSG on Nov-28-2006 17:48:

Thanks but where are the rest?

How was the back room and what about the upstairs???

Posted by GPC on Nov-28-2006 21:44:

Great night at Spundae. I was surprised how packed the main room was all night. We got there during Matt Cerfs set and the crowd was already pretty good. I never heard of Matt but he played a really good opening set. Will have to check him out again. Definitely a welcome last second addition.

The second Kristina got on, the energy just exploded. The few times Ive seen her she always plays flawless, upbeat sets and this was no exception. Her constant smile and energy are contagious and the crowd just ate it up. I was a bit surprised that her set wasnt a little more laid back but I guess she knew Solarstone could handle it.

Solarstone took what Kristina had built and just ran with it. Great track after great track. First time seeing him and he didnt disappoint. No tracklists from me as I suck it ids. Thrax can do that. He was naming off ids to me during the set. Thanks Kristina for introducing us to Rich and getting us a couple of pics with him. He seems like a very personable guy.

We spent the rest of the night bouncing between DJ Irene in the main room and Victor Dinaire in the back room. DJ Irene brought a much harder set and kept the main room packed until the end. Unfortunately, the back room was pretty empty for Victor. Hes one of my favorite DJs so we spent a lot of time there since this was probably the last opportunity to see him as hes moving to Florida By the end of his set we were the only ones in there. We chatted with him a little afterwords. He introduced us to his fiancee and we wished him luck on his move. Victors a class guy and we will miss him.

Great seeing all the usual TAs and nice meeting sunchild.

Thanks GPC! DJ Irene looks like she didn't want to be there.

Yes, we will have the tracklist for at least mine and Solarstone's set, as well as the full live recordings for download (all 4 hours) It'll just will take a few days to get it all sorted.

Saturday was a great night. We definitely weren't expecting that kind of crowd on the holiday weekend, especially with Oakenfold playing down the street. Thanks to those that were there to support this true trance classic. There were definitely a lot more people from TA there than there are posting reviews. C'mon lazy people, where are all those pics and vids we saw being taken??!?

I also have a handful of videos we took during some of the key tracks in SS's set. They really capture the vibe of the room. Will take a bit to upload them though but well worth the wait, I promise

Hope those that were there had as good a time as we did.

I was having a good time until Peter decided to buy me and Tom shots of Petron. I got really wasted and that was it for me.

Posted by hooj1 on Nov-29-2006 05:07:

it was a pretty good night. i got a bit wasted at the end though...no more jager shots for me. i didn't catch much of SS set, but aaron rocked the back room pretty good.

Love Poundin' Sensation

I loved Loved Loved Solarstone's set!

I wished he would have kicked Irean off and kept on playing!

I will post my picts soon!

Posted by gypsygirl on Nov-29-2006 06:51:

great night for sure! solarstone's set was really good. ksky's and matt cerf's sets were equally good. i kept bouncing back and forth between the back and main rooms and then up to the loft to get my new favorite cocktail from ernesto, grateful dead

the back room was tons of fun but as usual i was looking for a little more crazy electro but it's all good, the sets were still spot on!

i hung pretty well considering i had just spent 4 days partying in vegas and just got back saturday night.

good to see all the TA's. LOL, who the hell am i sitting by in that pic of greg's? i'm thinking crack head? the look on my face is pretty funny and the scary thing, i don't remember sitting there oh well, always fun at spundae!

Be Cool! :: SOLARSTONE VIDEO ::

Here is just one of many videos we have gathered from Solarstone night. The problem is that most of the videos are over 100 MB, since they are fairly long (4-8 min), and are too big for youtube or myspace videos. If anyone knows of any solutions, let me know so I can try to get the rest posted. ENJOY!

Sarah: don't worry, there are a lot of pictures I have that I don't remember.

Greg: nice shot of the lights. I got a similar one at circus before. so hot!

Posted by TSG on Nov-29-2006 22:36:

Hey! I have one similar to that ^ as my wallpaper on my laptop. Kewl!

BTW....

Question:
Does anyone know the song solarstone played.. the one everyone went crazy for.. it was a female vocalist .. lyrics had something to do "suicide"???

Posted by KarenLuvs2Party on Nov-29-2006 22:50:

"suicide" song was = Jump the Next Train by Young Parisian's (Solarstone's aka) feat Ben Lost

Damn I knew they were gonna play that song!

EDIT: Wait n/m.. if it was a female singing then I don't know that song!

I had the same question about my Love Parade Berlin videos, so here's a way (see Dave T's message 4 or 5 up from the end):

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...60&pagenumber=1

I found out that the Studio 9SE program that came with my vid cam would do it as well, so I used that instead. I could use it with your vids also, but would need the huge video files first on a CD, DVD, or somethin' so would take a bit more time to turn it around...

The video that I shot cut off after 1 minute for some reason, so it didn't even go past the break...but if anyone would like to see a 1 minute recording of Kristina's break, just let me know! That song might go into the Guiness book of records for world's longest break...lol

Sorry to hear, Riia! This one's for you, then:

Conductor & The Cowboy Feel This Way (Solarstone Remix)

...and the way is much better! Nothing like having the stomach flu after purchasing presale tix for Above & Beyond back in May, so I know the feeling. But, good things come back to those who wait so I'll be there 12/9!

Try Google Video. It doesn't have file size or length restrictions.

Don: Danke schon

Thanks for the suggestion, I actually already tried google video but it was acting up and not letting it upload
Will try again after the weekend on Google. If anyone else has any other options, please let me know. These videos rock and definitely want to share them with you guys.

Thanks Don, will check that thread out as soon as I get a chance!
And what long break are you referring to? (I'm not sure why the confused face has to look sad too LOL, I wish TA would get some updated emoticons cuz frankly I think our suck! )

I agree -

If we had the versatility of the Snowboard's emoticons (without the negativity) I think that would be awesome!

Dancing Dude

PICTURES!!!

Posted by in2muzikk on Dec-03-2006 04:40:

ok, here's the vid...just realized that none of my videos have been longer than 1 minute since Lovefest in SF, so actually looked at the user manual for my camera (much as I've been advised not to do when working with music...lol) and found that my vids had been set to "fast frame" mode which is for capturing fast-moving objects like race cars, horse races, etc. and it maxes out at 1 minute! Although this would be the correct setting to take videos of Kristina , I have moved it back to 30 frames/sec and now future vids are only limited by the size of my flash card.

Anyway, here's my 59 second vid of Kristina at Spundae (hmmm...was it actually a break, a transition between songs, or both?)
