Tiesto - Nyana (JD Remix) [Techtrance]

Here it is - comments and criticisms gratefully recieved!

Made this remix about six months ago but was never fully happy with it. Been tweaking at it for the last month or so and think I've got it down to a finished product.

Cheers in advance...

And if you like this, I've a mix in the DJ Production thread with the same track in, kind of puts the track into context.

Cheers again...

Nice to see that despite 65 views no-one's bothered even posted a comment about my track.

I know it's only my first track I've posted up, but I've seen that a lot of artists are putting stuff up that's going un-noticed. Shocking.

Hi there olympian85

Read your post and eventhough I can only speak for myself the problem of not getting replies can be due to a simple matter of not getting the file... Don't know much about technical stuff but when I clicked the link I came to site telling me to wait for the download and so I did.... for 15 min... then I gave up... Don't know if the problem is at my end, but there's a chance others have encountered similar defeats, so to speak...

Kindly
MG

That may be a point.

Sendspace can be a bit tempremental at times, becuase if there's not enough free slots spare then you have to wait for one to become free. Understanable some people can't be bothered to wait.

The major problem I have now is finding somewhere else to post the file...

EDIT: Found somewhere - http://download.yousendit.com/B0B4F105696B602C

OK here we go...

This is absolutely my cup of tea.. Soothing, relaxing and both simple and complex at the same time... Just love it when there is room for ones own fantasy to fill the "empty space". IMO you handle the difficult part of mastering with splender.

I will with out a doubt keep this in my playlist.

Keep it up and above all, chill a bit, the replies will be there.. Good productions will get them, trust me.

Yeah, my first review!
Cheers matey, comments are gratefully received!

As for mastering, didn't realise it was all that difficult...

In that case you should consider yourself lucky to be a natural talant. Usually it takes a great number of years to handle that part flawlessly. I'll bet almost any producer agree with me on that.

+1 it can be frustrating. All you can do is hope the dl works properly or at least someone will tell you!

Smiley DJ

Loved the original and I LOVE the simplistic remix you've done - as per Mozarts ghost's comment the mastering is SUPERB!
I'm gonna add this to my playlist if you don't mind and might even throw it into my Tiesto Tribute Mix I've got planned for the future

Sounds like a good plan, Plasmo, go for it! Let me have a listen to your tribute mix when it's done, post it on here or something!

Cheers for your comments, not sure if 'simplistic' is a good thing or a bad thing though?

Yes I meant simplistic as a good thing.
Meaning it's not a complete overhaul on the original like some remixes are - it's a simplistic one, but at the same time it's very powerful and very different all whilst keeping the same basic elements of the original. Hope that makes more sense

With regards the tribute mix, I've done one for Gabriel & Dresden and many other mixes but havent posted them online yet.
Trying to find out A. how to do it, and B. a website I can upload them too.
I'll try get round to it over Xmas break I think!
I have a sh!tload of mixes Ive done (not that they are necessarily that great) but I like them! LOL
