Thumbs up Can we talk about oatmeal??

I used to hate oatmeal when I was a kid, but now it's the bomb. So simple and tasty with some brown sugar and milk!

And what about soft, chewy oatmeal cookies?? YUM!

Oh and it's good for you too!

Oatmeal: it's what's for breakfast.

You can make oatmeal pretty tasty too...add some sliced fruit, like apples...and cinnamon! Yummmmmmmmmm.

I used to love oatmeal as a kid, but it strangely use to make me sleepy and tired. I used to pass out at the table after a big warm bowl. These days I don't dare eat before work or I'd pass out on the job!

It comes from both places....lol
The vt one just seems to be more popular, advertised more or something.
My uncle owns his own sugar house in vt, so that's what we live on.

Oatmeal ftw. Brown Sugar + Cinammon or Brown Sugar + Maple Syrup - or both together.

I can't even remember the last time I had oatmeal. But thinking about it is making me hungry.

The ones in the packets that were apple/cinnamon were good too.

Posted by pvdAngel on Nov-29-2006 15:57:

Porrige with some honey ftw.

Working in the nursing home has brought back my love for oatmeal. The residents eat it for breakfast.

I have to be up so early for clinical that I never have time to make myself something to eat...so to go into the home and have to look at all the food (it's good food too!) while I help these people eat makes me SO HUNGRY!!!
