Your absolute trance moment!
Hey!
I just thought it would be cool to know your all time favourite high on music, like on a gig or a tune or something that really litterally got you trancy
Mine was definately when Armin Van Buuren was in Helsinki, playing at Kaivohuone. Marcus Shulz was playing before him and all the time rumours were flying that Armin was running late, later and later. Then finally when most of the people were almost ready to throw Shulz of the stage, allthough he had a super gig, Armin came on.
He waited for a while before he started playing, and people were jumping back and forth like comooon. He put his headphones on and first you couldn't hear a sound, but then u could hear a very faint sound, I knew exactly what it was, we had put a bet on what he was gona play first, he played mike foyle's shipwrecked.
The anticipation was so high, and you know (those of you who now the track, which is most of u prolly
) that it builds up in a way, at least I think so, that makes the mind go BOOM!. At the moment the proper piano kicked in and the bass right after that, big soapbubbles started falling from the ceiling and when the lights hit them, wow. It was raining colours. I couldn't even move, I was in awe. I couldn't see the people around me anymore, just the bubbles.
I could have left that second coz I was completely content. It was euphoria. I cross my heart and hope to die, I had no drugs or drinks that night, music is my drug of choice
. I know situations like that is hard to describe but I think most of you have been there..
My second best was when I finally got the main things of mixing and did my first baseline switch at a perfect time. I was so surprised I screwed up the rest of the mix but I was so happy, I jumped and skipped around and my favourite teacher Graeme Lloyd smiled like he was really proud, don't know if he was but he looked like it.

This one time I had a really good bagel. It was awesome.

Divide your post up into paragraphs..it's hard to read with one gigantic paragraph.

I remember in 2003 I was at a club in Newcastle and the Thrillseekers were playing and about half an hour into his set after dropping some lush trance he played a track (dont know what it was) but it was so lush and the strobes were going off and I felt like i was melting and had to lean against the pillar it was so euphoric!
Thats without drugs too, oh, and he followed up with Push - Strange World and that was awesome too.
Just one of many but that was perhaps the most eurphoric ive experienced!

In its adjacency toward the commonwealth of Christmas Island, where the true prog is made much like the prog produced by the likes of Benz & MD. It is in relation to this, as such, that my personal views on the ethereal nature of the tracks in question are quite obtuse, as well as abstract. I like to listen to the way the paragraphs disarray towards indentation settles effervescently with my own personal discord with life. |
Uh I might write long stuff (that's a no brainer) but I do divide them up. When I started here I admit to doing this same thing but don't blame me for it now.
When one of the most beautiful guys I've ever met had his arms around me, and Coast 2 Coast - Home got spun... while I sang along when I will hold you so near to me again, I'm coming home....
sorry, had to share it

Uh I spelled "write"..."right", but I fixed it
The greatest trance moment was listening to Ian van Dahl while on top of Cascada in the tail of a Sandstorm. She's was a real Pulsedriver.
....haha yeah i'm a Thrillseeker.
When Tiesto stuck his willy in my ear and asked me if I was "feeling the vibe" yet.

When a friend I was on a coach on a foggy morning in Paris loaned me his CD player with 'A Higher State of Euphoria' CD2 and I played it without knowing what any of the tracks were. Was blown away...Solange - Message, Tilt - I Dream and PvD - Namistai all back to back
Also listening to the same few tracks on a summers evening departing London for Bangkok. Climbing out of Heathrow to the west we banked round the north of London with the sunset passing across the cabin as we turned, whilst supping on a glass of Krug. That is how life should be

I'de say that my best trance moment was listening to the song "Till I Came 2 Bed (Full Banging' Mix)" by Cling Clang CooCoo Clock. It had this lush ethereal quality, that set is a part from the tracks by Big Bad Butthead, like "Banging my Ex Wife's Sister". His stuff was too hard, and overdone, too grandiose. I will say that Cling Clang CooCoo Clock isn't too overdone, but the string arrangments are quite spiritual in the background of the banging and cooing coming from an invisible dimension that is located in the toilet called "Shitland", with it's pretty flying turd birds and gigantic brown cows. (see I can mock myself too, have a little fun...not all serious all the time, wow isn't that a revelation?).
