The *I'm so bored at work* thread

I am a therapist currently for teens with behavioral problems, which makes for an intersting, fun and challenging day.....normally.

However, when I have individual sessions, at least 50% dont show up, normally because they are out doing something wrong, and I have hours at a time to waste.....and usually I waste it doing: homework,internet, repeat.

I cant deal with how boring it gets here when my lil gangsters dont come in for sessions.

Anyone else have a boring job?

I swore Phuzzyfish had a similar thread...damn..search feature on ta sucks :/

I am somewhat there, but in my case I have to fill in my hours every day:

- woke up and took my daughter to Pre-K.
- had coffee
- went to gym
- came home and woke the wife
- wrote emails
- worked a few hours
- slept a few hours
- now back at work and posting
- gotta go to a post office in a few and drop my wife at her gym

Yawn... I am having a busy day so far. I really hate when I have to look for something to do because with technology today, I can be anywhere taking care of work while following my wife doing shopping for example.

Yes I remember that thread :P I used to post in it like everyday. Yea I am bored too. I mean I do have work to do but its the same shit over and over and over and I need to take a break sometimes. Otherwise my fingers would fall off from all the writing and typing I do around here.

I envy all of you that have boring jobs. In about a week, give or take, I'm gonna be running around a hot store getting people shoes and trying to get them to buy a damn cleaner, socks, or if I'm lucky, an insole.

I'm never bored at work anymore.....and it's good that I don't have the option of being online when I'm at work. Computers are bad for your health lol.

right now I am sitting at the front desk (cuz there is NO space for me), been here a month, i get paid for surf the web, post up pictures, do research (and surf online job sites) and do work *when* my boss decides to give me work...i work for a real estate guy in a small office on 5th avenue btwn 53rd and 54th streets and he is often OUT of the office...sometimes im maybe 1 of 3 ppl here during the week **shruggs**

well at least today (Friday) will be easy...

might take a break and go to the Theory Sample Sale that they just opened to the public TODAY...well supposedly. I need to check again.

Glad this thread was brought back .

I'm not all that bored today though. Just glad it's Friday. Still deciding whether to stay home and stare at the wall tonight, or go to Pacha or Love.
