My 1st Post

I have just re-joined tranceaddict.com having been here many moons ago, when I used to use the site for my source of quality, well ripped, mp3 files which I used to play out with. When the new tracks dried up, I went elsewhere but, eventually realised that vinyl was the was forward. (Thats turned around again though!)

Anyways, after hearing the site was still very alive and kicking, I thought I should give something back and post a mix on here. I mainly mix hard house/dance & hard trance now but, I've a mix on my site which suits the vibe on tranceaddict.com.

You've probably got the tracks, or some of them at least but, I hope that perhaps the mix gives some enjoyment to some, on a sunny afternoon or for some after club joys.

A mix dedicated to Anjunabeats, one of my most respected trance labels.

Anyways, thats enough words for now !

the mixing was decent enough, although i do think it could've been a bit tighter in places but not too bad overall.

How long have you been mixing for?

Way to go on at rejoining. I like how you played Dawn instead of Alba. Alba is a great track, but B-side doesn't get the same respect. Next time try a set with many different labels, cause even though Anjunabeats is a fantastic label, I think tribute mixes don't show me your skills as a dj. A couple of mixes were a little rough, but maybe that's just because you've been spoiled on hard dance or something. Good transition between tracks 4 & 5. I love tracks 7, 9 and 12 though, good call!

HEY!!! That's Alba! Play Dawn, you pansy!!! Everyone plays Alba!! And don't screw with the crossfader too often, it sounds unclassy!!

Thanks for the feedback - yeah I suppose I can be a bit cross fader happy as I am definitely a hard trance/house dj now. I've been mixing in total for about 7 years but, 4 of those were on a pc without using vinyl - I've used vinyl exclusively for the last 3 but, feel myself getting dragged back into digital with cdj's but, hell they're expensive for the ones you need !

Anyways, from days gone by, heres another (with better mixing) selection of truly nice trance tracks for your listenin pleasure (or not, whatever the case maybe)
