Handicap Buttons (Door opener)
I don't know what they are called.
Who uses them instead of opening the door themselves?
I never do, but today at class this guy in front of me used it and he wasn't even handicapped, he WAS fat though.
NOT!
They're nice if you got say both your arms full of books with no free hands but otherwise quit being a lazy-ass and open the door.
if i have too much stuff in my hands or carrying too many bags, then that's the only time i use it.
We do at the hospital, with or without patients. Going in and out of those doors all day long, that button is greatly appreciated.

fucking lazy... when poeple use it im like "seriously fucking open the door like a normal person.. its faster!"
i use it if i've got my big ass stroller with me. Most of the time they don't work, and so i've got to get infront of the stroller, open the door, drag it in backwards while trying to open the other door (there is usually 2 doors) and while all this is happening there is usually about 3 or 4 people that stand there and watch to see how i'm going to do it instead of opening the door for me. useless c*nts!
interesting lol
hellz ya i use them why not.. push a button door open i dont care that its got some bluse dude in a wheel chair on the button im gonna push it and walk on in or out or whatever.
LOL!
Ya it's faster to open it yourself. I agree with Andrea, the only time I use it is when I have my hands full ( and it's a pull door )
The only doors of this type that I deal with regularly are the doors to the bathrooms at my school. Maybe it's just their cheap motorized design, but using the handle feels like you're forcing something on the mechanism up top - it seriously feels like those doors were NOT meant to be opened manually, so I use the button.
I usually go out of my way to make the little conveniences go away in my life though - like when I park in a parking lot, I usually take the farthest end of the lot possible, just because I know I will save time just fucking walking a little bit extra than patrolling the lot 5 times looking for a spot that is 100 feet closer. Also, when faced with either escalator or stairs, I always take the stairs because hardly anyone else does. Maybe I just detest crowds? ![]()
Apparantly we don't have these in georgia, because I have no idea what you all are talking about.
