A Special Announcement.

Greetings Humans, I'd like to officially announce that I have quit WiredLA (something I created and someone stole from me)What this means is that I will no longer be handling promotions for Avalon Saturday Nights.

WiredLA was originally created with the intent to promote and educate a larger audience outside of our scene, to demostrate to a commercial audience the potential and beauty of our dance music scene. It was intended to be unbiased, but unfortunately, alot of people in this industry felt we as we were a treat rather than a supportive force for the music. We had to choose a side and of course that was were the relationship at Avalon began.

I wish my partner well, and everytime he sees that website he will know he took someone's vision and made it his shady cash cow.

Moving ON, I resume my relationship of 5 years with Giant. Dave, Alden, Travis, Basic guys, am back home where I belong and thank you Dave Dean for bringing the whole family back together.

All which people? Do you need a refund? Or are there specific people you are speaking on behalf of? And also, I would recommend hitting up [email protected] I know for a fact they will take care of you. Or, have you already done that?

But there are still tons of people out there that haven't gotten their refund from what I understand.

Gonna go downhill? Have you seen the line up lately? The only thing worth going to is Paolo Mojo & Josh Wink on the 16th.

I think people will still be going to Avalon regardless of who is playing.

Avalon will always have its regulars and is the only place open untill past 9am Sunday.

Can you say endless emails that amounted to nothing? Or perhaps.... a telephone line thats useless? Or how about dave dean personally guranteeing me that I'd get a refund and then getting shafted anyway?

Try 8 VIP tickets paid for in cash that have not been refunded. I followed their instructions last January after the cancellation and submitted the tickets, copies of the tickets, copies of my driver's license, sent each ticket individually via certified mail and had all of that delivered a week before the deadline.

I've been going back and forth with the folks at [email][email protected] (the irony is that the email address says help) for almost a year now, it's getting ridiculous at this point. I'm just hoping I can get 8 hard VIP tickets for Giant Maximus and possibly sell them to recoup the refund I never got for last NYE. This way I can pay back the friends that I bought tickets for that have not gotten THEIR money back. It's a pretty crappy feeling when your friends ask you every few weeks if Giant is ever going to refund their money. Imagine trying to sell them on spending money with Giant to see Sasha and Digweed when we haven't gotten our refunds?

Needless to say, it's hard for me to go and support Giant events when they've been unable (or unwilling) to refund my money. It certainly doesn't seem like they are strapped for cash (but that is just my perception).
