OK first off i would like to thank everyone for coming out this friday to the first official dirty friday and the GU29 pre party launch, despite the weather and the unfortunate cancelation of sharams flight there for making him miss his gig at stereo the party still had to go on and oh how it went ON....

The Bar.

roll in at 9:45 to warm up the sound system with ned and get the ball rolling its good to finally see him back behind the decks and its great to see that i got to team up with him. slow start to the night but at around 12:30 the bar started filling up nicely as we were just droping the funk and getting the floor moving, the crowed was AWSOME reacting super well and just dancing all through out the set major props to sasha and crew, alex selma ali for coming by and tearing up the dancefloor, louis thanks for poping in a making an appearance hope you had yourself a good night at circus. the Blended crew thanks as well for coming by Malick and crew. E babe your awsome as usual Annie there from 10 pm supporting the 2 of us thank you all so much it means alot to the both us.
P.s SCOTTY you're a star the look on your face towards the end of the night was priceless. great great night down at the bar thank you all so much for comin out.

Now to the Main room

as for the disapointing news that all flights were cancelled from NYC, washington DC illinoise and most of the estern U.S due to Horrible weather conditions both sides were having, Sharam did not make it, at least we got the Wonder Man Sultan to take his place and oh my how he took his place totaly destroyed the dance floor before boris MD came on and absolutely represented Sharam properly. the room was packed to capacity and the crowed was going off, excellent reaction excellent party. 5 oclock came around and boris took the decks droping the darkness big time LA style the crowed was loving it super great job on his part, boris ended at about 8 am and sultan was to take over again and close the night the beauty about it was he asked me to join him for a back to back session which i totaly accepted and what an awsome feeling it was still packed the crowed was absolutely brilliant this went on till 10:15 and the crowed still wanted more excellent experiance this night will defenetly go down in my books on every perspective

Ok so I get to Stereobar at 11pm. Maher and Ned were warming up the place nicely...Got rather crowded around 1am...I got the news about Sharam and hit the roof, didn't know what to tell the people asking me questions...I was kinda shocked myself.

Anyhow, up to the main room we went...Sultan was throwing down some funked up shit, quite pleasing to the ears I must say. I enjoyed Boris' set for about an hour and then it got kinda wierd...I can't find another word for it...WIERD. Then Maher tells me that Sultan and himself are closing the night from 8-10. I was like damnnnnnnnnnnnnnn it I gotta stay up for another 4 hours?!?!?! But at the same time hehehe...

So, Sultan & Maher's set: WOOOOOOOOOOW By farrrrrrrr, the bestest I have heard from you babe. Absolutely phenomenal. That bpm was UPPPPPP there, a nice change from your usual more flowy, grooving, deeper style. I was falling asleep in the VIP and then I totally woke up and the energy from you guys' set just shot straight through me and I somehow managed to stay awake and have an absolutely mindblowing time. The place stayed PACKED til the wee hours of the morning...And some guy thought Maher was Sharam LMFAO! Highlight of the night: closing with FUCK SATURDAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. OMG I can't get it outta my head!!! That and Young Punks vs. Reflekt (Ned Shepard's Need to Rock Ned Mashup) OMGGGGGGG I die. DIE!

Respect to Annie (everything was PERFECT! lol), Julian for being a complete loudass crowd pumper hehehe and, of course, to the men behind the decks: Sultan, Ned and Maher...Thank you for the experience of you guys' music, it really moves me and takes me to a place I never want to leave

Crazy how some plan change at the last min... But from the first vodka-shot with sugar on lemon to the 1/2 of bagel at 10.30 am next to stereo, It was the best night i had in a long time... so relax.

I loved the tracks Maher & Ned played, was happy to see them smiling and enjoying themselves.. (Merci) When I left the bar to go @ Stereo.. it was a nice crowd & great vibe downstairs.

Thanks to Sultan for making it on such a short notice. "Together We Rise" + "I wish you were here"... Wow!

Amin, you know me so well vs sharam gig cancelled & sultan playing instead...

Boris remind me some old moments so it was cool... I waited all his set for the last track he played: "Without you near".

Then Sultan & Maher back to back... Its been a while I left Stereo after 10. No regrets.
