[House] This is about cheesy house as it gets

So, I was in mood for a bit of cheesy house and made a set with all rock and pop tunes (with a bit of 80s in the end) house remixes.

http://www.yohanbang.com/Yohan-LaMaisonDeFromage.mp3

Yohan - La Maison de Fromage
1. Madonna - Jump (Jacques Lu Cont remix)
2. Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb (Blake Jarrell vs Nosmo's Lasershow bootleg)
3. U2 - With or Without You (Alucard & Sean Tyas remix)
4. Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars (Luke Terry remix)
5. Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (Revolve's Lost and Found remix)
6. Smashing Pumpkins - 1979 (New Origin's 1799 remix)
7. Coldplay - Speed of Sound (Steve Porter remix)
8. Coldplay - Clocks (Dean Coleman respekt vocal mix)
9. Cabin Crew - Waiting for Star to Fall (Club mix)
10. Doobie Bros vs Filo & Peri - Long Train Runnin' (bootleg mix)

Cheers for listening

hey i'm up for this!

the Steve Porter remix of Speed of Sound is mint, and Luke's Chasing Cars remix is rockin'.

I'd have also thrown in

Eric Prydz vs Pink Floyd - Proper Education
DONS ft Technotronic - Pump up the jam (Kurt Maverick Remix)
The Killers - Mr. Brightside (Jacques Lu Cont's Thin White Duke Mix)

Eh. Proper Education gets plugged enough already
Pump up the jam is just annoying
And I originally debated whether to add Mr. Brightside, but it has a very awkward beginning so if I wanted to add this, it would have been at the beginning of the set but Madonna - Jump I prefer. Still not bad a tune though. (And would have made this set more cheesy

Cheers for listening though

IMO you can get a whole lot cheesier. These are actually some solid productions and I usually hate mashups and remixes of old hits.

this one looks pretty interesting, shame the transfer is poor.
I am afraid I won't be able to download it unless the transfer goes up.

Having just been diagonosed with the clap and in the middle of writing an essay on spacetime, this mix has cheered me up no end

Well, I was going for remixes that I actually like.
I gotta have some dignity, ok?

Interesting, I had my server tested at 2 locations and one was at 100 kbs and the other 300 kbs.

okay I finally managed to grab it, transfer wasn't so bad eventually.

I really enjoy the mix, as I was searching for this kind of set / was planning to do this stuff (more or less) myself. You made my day with your effort, thanks

as an amateur dj I would argue about the programming, but for this set I focused on nice easy tracks, so no complains at all. Cheers!

Normally my programming is better, but for the purpose of this mix, it was more for the tunes than actual programming.

Though you can break it down to more prog ish tunes at the beginning, then the rock type tunes in the middle and the 80s stuff at the end.

Cheers for listening

This set is just a whole lot of fun. I've been looking for something like this for awhile actually - familiar tracks with a danceable twist. Goes through a variety of styles, but each track adds something unique to the fun. Well done!
