Mirror question

Why is it when you move or roll your eyes when looking in the mirror, they don't move? I bet there's a straight forward answer to this and I'll probably slap myself.

Yeah, that's what I thought but it's still weird. Yes, I know you can feel your eyes moving but you don't see them moving in the mirror.

you mean like if you're looking at your eyes and move your head side to side while still looking at your eyes?
