Thanx.

I have made a few changes in the tune. An update will come later.

Great perc. Love the bass. Interesting how the vocals sit on the mix with that room reverb. Great drive on the offbeat snare. I feel that the sine lead could come in a little less abruptly, and could be followed through a little better. Other than that, steller damn track!

Thanks for the comment.
Did you mean the melody in the breakdown?

An update will be up now!

i like robbies songs so i was inclined to check this one out, especially being posted on a EDM forum

vocal could be a little cleaner, it sounds like its been put through some light distortion or something, either way, uve fiddled with it somewhat.

pad and bass matches the vocal, good work there

got a real sci-fi sound halfway, i like it, chilled out stuff.

a real laid back remix, sounds good, i kinda associate it with that 'tracking treasure down' sorta vibe, u could roll a joint and smoke that and get lazy to it on a hot summers day

keep up the good work dude

Thanks again for the comments.

I have put the vocal through some light distortion. Maybe I will change it, maybe not.

vocals can use reverb/delay instrumentation and samples sound 5-7 years old... other than that- the 4:30min mark souns nice. Oh, needs compression on top of the mix, that will give the vocals and the other elements more of an analog blend/sound(unified sound), right now it sounds like i can hear every single separate sample or sound of the mixdown which just doesn't seem to blend very well. oh there are also some slight synch issues with the vocals at the beginning, maybe fix that too...

Posted by in_dreams on Dec-12-2006 04:20:

Thanx for the comment. I am not really good at mastering a tune and I don't really know how to make the compression so it sounds good. The tune is compressed but maybe not right.

I would be happy if someone could told me how to do it right or if someone could help me with that if I send you a wavefile of the tune.

Cheers!

Nice start... good kick and perc.... the bassline is awesome... the vocals are good... but i guess you need some reverb and little filtering in it... the synths are good... i like that background pad work.... really chilly for me....the breakdown is really good.... lovely pad work... i guess i dont find any bad thing about this track... i like it alot... very nicely done.... simple and nice

Good luck on other stuff

I have made some updates:

Vocal:

More Reverb
Some Delay
Filter

Rest:

Some compression for one of the synths

I hope it sounds good. In other case so just write it down.

Cheers!

Hi,

I am a totally looser in everything with musicterms so I don't know what you mean with "more mid to lo freq percs"

About the acapella so do I think it's in tempo but I can hear wrong.
I use FL Studio 4.

Please comment my new tune:
Lonesome Warrior

Thanks for the comments.

Cheers

mid to low frequencies.. in other words, percussion between 120 and 800 hz... in my opinion, that always help give a fuller sound.. shakers are your friend there..

ill make a percussion tutorial shortly in the production forum, so keep looking and hopefully i can help someone get better at percs..

Posted by in_dreams on Dec-13-2006 15:02:

Ok.

I should try to put a shaker in the tune.

Cheers!

Good tune, like what you have done here.

In a perfect world, maybe less vocals? Thats just personal preference though.

Also, would love it if you could work in that guitar fromk the orignal intor. It is so lush, I love it.

Tune is updated with some shakers and some mastering.

Sorry for the 30 seconds silence in the end.

hmm. this is some god shit! somehow I hear that you use FL...

Really nice done, like that you have it plain and not to trancy.
And. damn! Robbie Williams sings nice.. really like the original, and this I could like to..

and the vocals fits nice!
