Amsterdam, Queensday Armin!!!

Hey all!
I'm going to amsterdam for queensday which is the weekend from 27.4.2007 to 1.5.2007. The 30th of April Armin has his yearly huuge party which is wowwowwow, at a open venue between 15:00-22:00, then it's off to other parties.
I'm looking forward to it soo much.
During the weekend there are alot of other, less known dj's playing for free around the city, at the squares. Last year tiesto had a trance gig for free and there are loads of other trance parties since amsterdam is the trance capital
Great fun, but hotels and flights run out fast, so I'm booking it now.

that armada event is NOT in amsterdam

and amsterdam is NOT the trance capital in the world. this because there are hardly any trance parties anymore

Bavsh is right, leiden is not in amsterdam, it's 30min away by train. But aaanyhoow, there are loads of parties during that time, so bavsh u don't need to be worried Last year I was listening to trance like from 10 am to 21, coz we walked from one plein to another. It was really cool.

At the moment house, club, minimal are the most popular genres of EDM in Amsterdam, not much trance. The night before queensday their are A LOT of parties in Amsterdam aswell as the rest of the Netherlands. I always miss queensday because i am too wasted of the night before.
