Who - who are you - what synth did they use?

Do any of you guys have any idea what they used to make the "Wuh wuh wuh wuh" sound
I would love to find a Virtual synth where i could replicate a similar effect

sample please, what you think "wuh wuh wuh wuh" sounds like could be different as to what i think "wuh wuh wuh wuh" sounds like.

I believe they used HyperUlcer version 5.6 beta 3, which as you know is also famous for the oom-budda-oomp-oomp budda-tss pfft buddamadumabuddabup pssztahfptbdlap riff in "Who's Your Daddy".

lmao, just a joke. I'm just saying, most of us don't listen to music because it's famous here. and i can't help but lol every time i listen to the sample.

I looked around for a short while and found that Rod Argent has used a Minimoog and an Octave CAT. It's definately analog, bit of resonance, filter envelope opens on attack.. I'm not that great at ID'ing waveforms yet but I'd guess it a saw.

don't speak for the majority because you'll find that the majority don't agree with you.

ps. is that the same song on the csi intro?

I was looking around too, didn't find as much info as you did. I did see that Rod Argent played the synths on that albumn. Minimoog would make sense, since those were heavily used during that era. It's a pretty easy synth sound to replicate. It's a basic saw wave with a little attack and resonance on it to give it that wuh wuh sound. I'm sure Superwave freebie version could achieve that sound. I loaded up the midi to who are you, and was able to get pretty close with superwave pro.

I would pay money to a moderator if they changed Mysticalninja's name to Mysticalretard.
