Effects of LSD

anybody ever look in the mirror....My brother told me its something u should never do while fucked on mushrooms or acid or anything like that...because u may nit reconize urself...or if u see a pimple or something that you'l ltry to scratch it off ur face and can really hurt urself...just a couple examples

I once took 9 hits of acid and looked in the mirror and this what happened...

...at first everything was normal. I was doign my normal I'm good enough, I'm smart enough and dog gone it people like me routine. But then everything started changing.
My left ear all of a sudden fell off my face and turned into a gathering of angels. It hovered above my head for a moment and it just sort of stayed there.

I was wigging out at this point, needless to say, I mean, my ear had just turned into a gathering of angels and they didnt' even have the decency to say hello!

So I said to the angels, "why have you come here?"

They turned to me, pointed in unison and this is what they said...


"Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me!"

i dont know if this is sarcasm or not but if you realy have done LSD, would you point out the main differences in the effects between LSD and mushrooms, im curious as to how much more fucked u get on LSD

Basically its not really that much of a difference.
When I took mushrooms the angels only lip synched instead of doing the actual song with the actions, but pretty much the same thing.

I LOVE looking in the mirror when I'm on shrooms, the first time I did it, I stared at myself for about 20 minutes. I knew it was me, but I was mesmorized.

The main difference between LSD and shrooms is that when you're on LSD, things appear that aren't there, whiles shrooms just 'edit' what's already there. So while on shrooms, if you look at a picture of some flowers, you might think they're real. On LSD, they'll melt and mold into different things and eventually turn into a purple dragon. Then again, I've never done a LOT of shrooms at once, so maybe it's possible to mimick an LSD trip with enough shrooms.

LSD also lasts about double the time shrooms do.

i dono man, i have had shrooms take me to a different place once.. i was seeing the same thing open / closed eyes. It was very scary, but also extremely insighful

When will LSD give you X-Ray vision?

I've done the exact same thing, just kind've stare at myself in the mirror while on shrooms.

i dont like to do that, it makes me look like i am ageing by the second... my skin just starts to go from young to old to dead. Same with the hands.

I've never had a bad trip on shrooms, and the only thing I hallucinated was... little cave man drawings dancing around on the wood in our giant campfire. Then I made up some crazy theory on human behaviour and cave men and whatnot.

dunno about that, experiences REALLY depends on your personality
things can melt into other things on mushrooms too, just take more at once

I agree. It definitely has much to do with your personality, and your current state of mind. Generally speakig most psychadelic drug experiences are very similar. Mescaline experiences tend to vary greatly, and are a bit more "strong". LSD is stronger than shrooms on an average doese, but from my own experience, you can create just as potent a trip on shrooms in larger quantities. Also, the ingestion of shrooms varies greatly on the effects. For example, (and assuming you have good quality shrooms) you can probably replicate the effect of eating 5 grams with the brewing of tea using 3-4 grams. Brewing and drinking tea will definitely have the effect come on more quickly.

Those that have never had a bad trip, good for you. It can go from a mildly uncomfortable feeling to a freaking terror show. Trust me.

I've heard alot of things about phycedelic drugs though. But the fact is that i don like messing around with my nerves.
