So you need #4 and Freddy's Dead, too. Good (bloody) memories.

I stopped watching them, after Dream Master.

1, 3, and New Nightmare are the only ones worth watching. The rest of them were at about the same level as...well, the entire Friday the 13th series.

Interesting fact: yeah, Depp was in the first one. He got pulled into his bed towards the end and a fountain of blood came up, it was really gross. When the time came around for Craven to make Wes Craven's New Nightmare, Depp was a huge celebrity and Craven was too afraid (hah, get it - Craven was afraid? snork, snork) to ask him to fill a cameo role in it. At a party they met at some time later, Craven found the gusto to ask Depp if he would have made an appearance - Depp said we would have done so gladly. Just goes to show - it's better to ask and be turned down than to never ask at all.

I liked One (what I can remember from it) and Three, because One is what NATURALLY started off the entire series. Three has a nice focus on how the dreams were dealt with, upon the uniqueness of each individual. It seems corny at first, but it turned out to be a decent part of the series.

ugh. those movies haunted me as a child, and they still kind of disturb me now.

i had the whole series except for the 5th film. loved 3 & 4 the most. haven't seen the 5th since i was 5 or 6 years old, only things i remember from it are that one killing where a guy is riding a motorcycle and the motorcycle infuses with him or something, and a major scene where people are browsing through kruger's brain.
