So what is the deal for the VIP ticket holders for Giant Maximus ?

Somebody connected to Giant should know this by now ....

Patience, there's still a few weeks. I'm betting there will be a Maximus VIP list at The Vanguard on Saturday that has the names of people that bought the VIP tickets. That would be the easies route for Giant.

Yes, patience is a virtue. I usually am patient, but I'll be out of town well before NYE, so if tix were to get mailed, it would be a bit of a proble.

i checked with them the other day and they had not finalized how it was going to work, but obviously its easy for Groovetickets to send over the list of names and how many tix they bought so i think that is how it will be done.

I haven't seen Lawler in YEARS...since the first Lights Out tour. His recent sets tend to be much more electric/harder style opposed to the older tribal, dark, deep, & dirty. I would love to hear some NASTY drums w/ haunting vocals and sexy beats. Not sure what we'll get in LA...extended set though...however long that may be. Thoughts?

Last time I saw him down here in SD: the first part of his set was the "electro/harder style" and then he moved into a real nice dark tribal segment, then finished off with a couple huge tunes. it was a fuckin sick night. I stayed the last 45 minutes by myself cuz my friends were weak and left

Why old? He doesn't sound much like he used to. If you want a good idea of what he sounds like, try to find his essential mix from Pacha earlier this year. That's a pretty good example. Or better yet, look for his Viva cd. That's pretty much the sound he's pushing right now
