I would like to add a big personnal thanks to Aria, a club that has always treated me with the highest respect, and gave me the chance to play among the best, and become a better DJ. Thanks for all the fantastics nights!

En avril 2001, une nouvelle bo�te de nuit ��afterhours�� ouvrait � Montr�al. Situ� dans l�ancien cin�ma Berry (rue St-Denis et Ste-Catherine), le club avait tous les atouts n�cessaire pour devenir la r�f�rence � Montr�al pour plusieurs ann�es. Soit les meilleurs promoteurs de la ville (J.C., Driss, Stephane Harvey, Eddy, Fernando ainsi que plusieurs autres), une salle unique avec un feeling tr�s ''underground'', un syst�me d'�clairage avant-gardiste comme aucun club n�avait jamais eu � Montr�al, et une brochette de DJs extraordinaires. Tout les efforts �taient d�ploy�s pour vous offrir une exp�rience originale et unique.

Le club a ouvert ses portes pour un �v�nement sp�cial, soit le pr�-party du plus populaire des raves / �v�nements � Montr�al depuis les 10 derni�res ann�es, Le Bal en Blanc. On se souviendra longtemps de l�installation du plancher de la piste de danse alors que les gens attendaient malgr� l�heure d�ouverture officielle d�pass�e depuis plus de 2 heures. Bien s�r, apr�s une grosse campagne publicitaire, les gens �taient curieux et la queue � l�ext�rieur �tait �norme (plus de 1500 personnes attendaient). L�ouverture fut un grand succ�s, avec la performance m�morable du dj Derrick Carter.

Nous, les propri�taires, d�sirions offrir la meilleure musique de club au monde � nos clients et c�est ce que nous avons fait. Nous avons engag� les meilleurs DJs de tous les styles en passant par le techno, le house, le trance, le rap et le r&b... soutenus par nos DJs r�sidents de grands talents. Quelques mois plus tard, la bo�te �tait d�j� connue au Canada et apr�s un an, dans le monde entier. Le club �tait affectionn� et consid�r� comme l'un des meilleurs au monde par des artistes tels que Danny Howells, Misstress Barbara, Derrick May, DJ Dan, Seb Fontaine et plusieurs autres.

Nous �tions � l�avant-garde sur la sc�ne montr�alaise, �tant les premiers � faire venir les grands dj�s trance du monde comme Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Johan Gielen et Marco V, pour ne nommer que ceux-ci. Nous nous rappellerons longtemps les performances extraordinaires de Marco Carola, Sven Va�th, Ben Sims ainsi que celles de Dave Clarke. Ferry Corten quant � lui a marqu� nos �v�nements trance avec des performances �poustouflantes (il �tait tellement sympathique que les gens l�adoraient).

Pendant plus de 5 ann�es, nous avons travaill� d�arrache-pied pour offrir aux gens des soir�es m�morables. Nous avons particip� � plusieurs �v�nements en temps que partenaires et associ�s, soit avec le Bal en Blanc pendant plusieurs ann�es, 514 Productions (C�l�bration 2005, Swirl 2005 et Cream 2005) toujours en esp�rant satisfaire notre client�le, leur offrir des privil�ges et des �v�nements de qualit�.

Malheureusement, aujourd�hui, en d�cembre 2006 la bo�te ferme ses portes! Les tendances changent, la musique �volue, la client�le est partag�e... mais nous avons toujours la passion. Nous tenons sinc�rement � remercier notre client�le pour ces 6 ann�es extraordinaires! Bien s�r nous remercions tr�s chaleureusement nos employ�s, DJs et autres artistes ayant contribu� � cette belle aventure qu��tait le ARIA.

La derni�re soir�e de l�Aria se tiendra samedi le 23 d�cembre 2006 pour la danse finale. Nous esp�rons pouvoir partager cette soir�e avec vous, et voir cette salle vibrer une derni�re fois. C'est avec beaucoup d'�motions que nous vous disons au revoir.

Thanks for all these crazy nights since the opening. I will always remember : Sven Vath, Richie hawtin, Steve Lawler,Mateo Murphy,Yaz, Creator, Maus, Mini, G'obrien, Misstress Barbara, Christian Smith, Chris Liebing, Tiga, Felix Da Housecat, K-swing, Dieselboy,Mauro Piccotto, Marco Carola etc...thanks!

Also,to give me the chance to play with the crazy mixer,in that room with Alex Bau, Preach and the electro nights organised. Thanks a lot!

I definitely won't be making the closing party. It is really too bad they are doing it so soon and the day before the holidays.

Ah well, I cannot close out one of my favourite clubs ever. Soooo disappointing *cries*

Let me tell you, I played therre last Friday, and it was magical. Seeing this place packed with lights and sound, knowing it was one of the last.... very emotional moment. You should go one last time, it will bring a smile to your face.

I remember one pushing Dan and went to front and then these 6 huge (coolest bouncers ever!) told the two black guys to gtfo.
