Crest White Strips

I've been a semi-regular user of these things for awhile now. They seem like a good idea but they're SO INCONVENIENT! You cant talk or move your mouth or they'll slip off and that gel on the strips makes me salivate so its hard to keep them on while I keep spitting, since it can't be healthy to swallow.

Anyone else use them?

fucking annoying as hell, i agree
got some other thing(forget what brand) thats like random tubes and tiny brushes and you rip the top off the lil tube and squeeze the shit onto the brush and like paint the shit on your teeth and leave it for a while then rinse it off, works similarly but you can still talk and shit while you got the stuff on

from the age of like 1 i fiended apple juice and the last 5 or 6 years been a heavy coffee drinker, plus i smoke

Buy a bleaching system from your dentist. He'll custom mould a tray for your teeth, then you inject the bleaching compound into it and put it on for an hour or so. Much better results than anything you can get off the shelf.

how much does the bleaching system cost?

I got a box the Heavy strength ones from the dentist. Have yet to use them. I have also used the two hour whitening treatments, those seem to work well.

i heard they are bad for your throat and stomach lining, the chemicals it excretes are harmful to your body over time.

this is an oral product, which has an incredible chance of being digested
they have to test it for the stomach lining/throat effects from it,
too many lawsuits, especially in the USA, if they didn't

my old skool dentist (retired as of few years ago) told me "that crest white stuff or whatever does more harm than good emitting chemicals not needed into the mouth. Brushing is the best way but sometimes does not do justice like you see actors on TV.

The long term solution is brush always. Short term pay a load for the bleach.

Info about putting crap other than toothpaste in your mouth

I used to use the crest whitening strips all the time, they work great but yes, big pain in the ass. Have you tried using whitening rinse? It's a little different than a regular mouth wash. I use one from Crest, twice a day, in addition to brushing and I've seen a huuuuge difference already. If the Crest strips are working for you, give the mouth rinse a shot instead.

A couple of hundred, I got it cheaper cos I know a dentist. but it's worth it - I noticed a big difference after two sessions. The other thing is you're supposed to not smoke or drink black tea, coffee or red wine while ur doing it.

I picked up this little kit by Plus White at Walmart the other day, called "5 Minute Speed Whitening" and it is incredible effective. My teeth were pretty yellow from drinking coffee for a while and I've only used it 3 times so far and my teeth are already much whiter (I noticed a difference after the first time)! First you mix up a solution to swish around in your mouth for a few seconds, then put this gel on the mouthpiece and keep it in for 5-15 minutes. It says to use it twice a day for two weeks, then a few times a week after that as needed. The best part is it's only $7
