I think Belgium get to few respect in the trance world.
We have huge producers, but the style they spin here in the clubs isnt that good as in England, Holland.
We all know that England and Holland have the best DJ's.
The fact is that most people think about lasgo, ian van dahl.
And its true, they spin stuff like this here in the clubs.
Its not the big thing of trance what most of you TA's know from sets from AVB, PVD, Tiesto.
Thats why Belgium got less recognition, just because of the spinning style here.

BUT!!!
My personal opinion on producing...
Not because im A Belgian myself
is that we DO have the best producers like cresto said.
Dirk Dierxcks, L-vee...

Most of the people only know these 2.
But there r more producers then them out here....

just to name a few tracks....

Yves Deruyter - the rebel --> I almost forget this one myself MASSIVE TRACK
Yves Deruter - to the rythm
Dj Jan - xsanto
DJ Philip vs DJ Franco - Harmony
dj philip - eternally (m.i.k.e. remix)
Dj Wout - endless road
Dj Wout - island of trance
Dj Wout feat. K-Lab - adorable
DJ Wout meets Da Peejay - the awakening
montini traxx-the sound of innocence
Dj Philip - spring
Gemini II - rising
Gemini II - we love the music
Systematic parts - dont walk away
dj jan - my impression dj philip and regi remix --> guess most of u havent ever heard of it
Dj Jan - blaxo (tiesto remix)
perfect sphere - perfect glow (dj jan and christoph mix)
Tales Of DJ Philip - All night long

So give this ones a listen, Im sure u will like them

They don't play lasgo in the clubs that I visit.
Like all countries we have lots of commercial clubs, but in belgium we have the most clubs in the world (not in total offcourse).
And we sure have good ones: cherrymoon, bbc, illusion, la rocca and many more.

I love belgian trance. M.I.K.E and L-Vee are my two favorite producers...

What bothers me is that none of them seem to dj much.. I have only found one liveset by M.I.K.E, which is the short TE set from last year (I think) and none by L-Vee..

Could someone mention djs that play this kind of trance (Not Armin, Tiesto or others that are really famous)? Yves Deryuter I have a couple of good livesets with, but other than that?

l-vee and mike play a lot in scottland and the uk.
But deejaying is not their main activity, they first started producing and after that they started dj'ing.
Yves Deruyter is originally a dj and started to produce later.
Ydr recently became resident in la rocca on saturdays
la rocca has it own radio station with 24 hours a day music recorded in la rocca. http://www.radiorocca.be
