Post the first track you ever made here!

Thought it might be quite fun (and/or embarrassing) for everyone to post the first tracks they made, so I'll get the ball rolling with my first musical turd of a track

[[ LINK REMOVED ]]
(what was i thinking)
Made this in reason 2.5 december 2004 if i remember right. love the little scratch samples, lol

Posted by cistane on Dec-12-2006 21:54:

i cant really find my first production, much less know how to get it on computer, since my first productions were using the MTV Music Generator aaaaaaages ago. lol but ill link up one of my earlier productions that i have... finished this one in 2004 [[ LINK REMOVED ]]

Hi guys!

Here are some of my first track from 3 different programs. I can´t really remember what tune who came first but I will begin with with a tune from the first program I used.

Dance Ejay 1:

Electric Dreams

The second program I used was:

Magix Music Maker:

Move Your Body (Right Now)

And the last program who I still using:

Fruity Loops:

A Bright Night in Mora

I now that this doesnt sound as good as yours but whata hell!

By the way Cistane. I think you should do a new version of your tune. I really liked it.

Cheers!

Doesn't anyone dare to post their first tunes?

I lost my first series of crap. I can however come up with my stuff from '98. Maybe when I get home , most of it is pretty horrid.

DO! who cares if it's horrid! thats the point! I always like going back and listening to my first track to see just how much I've improved over 2 years, this would be good motivation to pple who are just starting to produce for them not to give up!

I dont want to get banned, I will pass, thanks :P.
Kopi =o.

I started in tracker format (FastTracker II) in late 1997. I've lost most of my earliest works, however I think this is the oldest pile of crap I can find on TMA (done in Impulse Tracker):

http://www.modarchive.com/cgi-bin/d...i/S/spk_bass.it

It will download a zip file. You may need a player that supports playing Impulse Tracker (.IT) files. Winamp has functionality built in, but for the most accurate sound I highly recommend XMPlay ( http://www.un4seen.com )

Hehe I've got an old Ejay 3 track too. Will upload it tomorrow once I find it.

I would kill to get a hold of my old amiga tracks
I made about 100 tracks on it, sadly it's all lost today

Posted by Rayan on Dec-18-2006 22:17:

hehe. okey!
Will post my first "serious" tune, the time I started to produce music, so its somehow my first!! but its not my first one! but, my first "compo" tune! I did get 2000.- Norwegian Krones for it at the computerparty! I was only 14-15 years at that time! so be gentle. And it all was tracked with Impulse tracker!
its on Scene.org !
Like you all hear, I have always been into piano and melodies!

Here!!!

Posted by kopi_luwak on Dec-25-2006 22:24:

Ok, I gotta say this is a funny and fresh thread so I will take the risk to get banned and will post one of my first tunes ever!
Notied the horrible panning, mixdown. I remember when I did was so produ of it, sent it to all my friends, posted in all forums I knew (Non musical).
I listen to it now and I cannot stop laugthing, and even when I have improved a bit, this reminds me to be always objetive with my own work, and to never let emotions to fake me out cosnidering something is good when is utterly crap.
This tune is so old that I used the name Dj Kopi,. did not know even a Dj and producer were a diferent thing lol ...
The tune was about three years, when I made it I had like 3 or 4 months producing, found it yesterday in a very old CD while I was looking for some old pics of me.
Here we go!

Dj Kopi < --- (Shaolin Kid)

Download

Kopi =o.

I still use Fruityloops 5, dont blame the sequencer, is good, blame the producer, fruity can be as powerful as any other sequencer well used .
Kopi =o.

What?! I still proudly use FLStudio today. I don't think he was blaming the sequencer -- he was blaming his inexperience (Calling himself a NOOB, just as I was when I first used FLSTudio). As far as I know, we ain't blaiming the fruit at all.
