Questions for those who have the DJM800

so i'll be picking mine up today (been mixerless for like 2 1/2 weeks) my question was to use it as a midi controller, think i'll be able to use this as a basic MIDI interface for Ableton?

sold it heh. wanted to get the 800 for hybrid mixing. was waiting on djdeals but they are out of stock. convinced the guy at guitar center to match their price even though they arent in stock.
