i heard that spirits at the Hard rock are putting George Acosta and Edgar V on every friday....any one got any more info on this

im not sure about this one. LP isnt running Spirits anymore and im not sure in what direction the new managment is taking it in.

By the way, I dont understand the hate on George, he rocked it at Global Gathering this past year, he was awesome at space when he was with Gerry Cueto and Edgar, he loves the music has fun with the crowd, everytime i've seen him he just drops good old classic hard trance...maybe i havent seen the bad side but he even remembers me everytime i see him and says hi, takes pics and what not....

THis is nothing new though.. this was happening in the beginning of this year. It was fun the couple of times I went, but for some reason some nights were just empty.
The week before Van Dyk last year they both tore that place to shreds and played great sets. In fact the next week was a complete letdown when Van Dyk played. From what I have witnessed, IMO Acosta still can rock a crowd, as shown by his sets at Sprits last December w/ Edgar, the Shadow Lounge reunion, Global Gathering, and Bang.
I for one hope this happens, even if the location sucks for me.

I agree with Mel. I used to love acosta. Especially after the cd Next or some crap with him holding some orange ball or what not. Loved that cd - the one with reeper. But then i heard him play 2 years ago and all i can say was he lost many mant fans. It was horrible.
I live in cali and only saw him back then, but those of you who live in florida say he hasnt gone back to being good and i beleive you cause it was so bad when i saw him. Hope he improves for WMC
went to GA & EV at Spirits back in feb and had a really great time.
