Mix problems - Dissapearing bass.

Hi guys,
saw all the bass questions and decided to ask one myself.
well, I'm having a little problem lately with my basses... They tend to fade away while the notes go lower...
I dunno what to do or how to compress them better in order to achieve a cleaner and fatter mix...

any advices?

Thanks a lot,
Barak.

render the whole tune in a higher key?

I run into this problem alot. I usually solve it by applying automated EQ to the bass. It works great for me, I get full control of the sound. I don't think it sounds that bad in your sample, atleast on my headphones.

it's probably your speakers and room acoustics, not your track
