A Christmas present for all of you budding DJs? (sorry I meant wannabe)

TEACHMIX LAUNCHES

07 Dec 06

London, December 2006: Teachmix the Carl Cox approved, teach yourself to DJ course, available on Vinyl and CD, launches in time for Christmas 2006.

A combination of decades of professional know-how and an innovative, step-by-step approach, Teachmix is quite simply the fastest way to master beat-mixing, the essential technique from which all the headlining greats made their name.

Using a mix of beats, voice and music, Teachmix takes you on a journey, through setting up the tunes, matching the beats, working with different BPMs and dropping the track in time to show you how the experts really do it. Available in both Vinyl and CD formats, Teachmix is designed to work across the music spectrum and caters for all music tastes. When youre done, youll be able to cue, match and mix hip hop, electro, house, garage and more.

Teachmix is going to change the world of DJing for everyone out there who loves mixing tunes but hasnt quite mastered the art said Carl. It took me years to really get under, in and around the beats and until now, its always been a bit of an industry secret. Teachmix breaks it all down into logical stages and is one of the most useful tools Ive ever seen. I love it!

Teachmix was invented by Dominic Spreadlove, a DJ, record producer and all-round house music guru whos been on the scene for over 20 years. Working with Carl Cox in the early days gave him the idea and inspiration for Teachmix, which he has continually fine-tuned over the years. Carl Cox, world-class DJ, producer, remixer and international dance music ambassador, is fully behind the project and will be working with Teachmix to take its message out to the masses.

With an RRP of 19.99 for the CD and 24.99 for the Vinyl, Teachmix levels the playing field and gives all music fans access to the best teaching methods ever published in a funky, stylish format. Sold online at www.teachmix.co.uk using Paypal, widely regarded as the worlds best and most secure ecommerce solution, and soon through independent record stores, Teachmix will put an end to clashing beats and let the quality of the mixed music shine through.

See www.teachmix.co.uk for stockists and further information.

so beatmatching, phrasing and cuing is an industry secret?

I'd rather buy somehting like Recess's "DJing for Dummies". His website is an excellent resource for beginners, I'm sure the book is better.
