BBC1 radio streaming problems....

anyone listening to BBC1 radio recently and having connection issues after a minute or so? i've been having this problem for a good month or so - every show will play but then cut out after a minute or so...very annoying.

actually been listening to it this morning and during the weekend. NO problems whatsoever. kinda hate to say this, but you might want to try downloading the newest version of realplayer.

I hate realplayer as a format, but for steaming, it does a decent job. I actually found it to be one of the most reliable streaming formats out there. Caveat: I never used itunes and i never will.

right, it is a steaming pile.

winamp/itunes is the best format. pls is supported on many platforms and lots of players.

next is the godforsaken asx, wmv streaming. decent job there...

For some reason, I have problems before 3 pm pst. Not sure if it has something to do with the amount of people listening during that time . . .

use real alternative, it's the same thing without all the added crap.
