Question Lubricating Rotary Knobs?

Is there any way to do this safely? The filter knob (along with a couple of the EQ knobs) on my Xone 62 is getting very sticky, and not smooth feeling at all and I'd really like remedy this.

Any suggestions?

happened to mine too...whenever I hit the space bar..it just sits there stuck...for about 5 seconds till it slowly comes off. i even cleaned all the shit off
