Dunno Looks like it will be a green Christmas...

Looking at the forecast for the week, and it doesn't look like we will be getting snow before Christmas. I'm in the Christmas spirt, but not as much as usual, and same with some other friends. It has to do with the fact like its still sweater weather most of the time I guess, and GRASS outside lol.

i'm not in any rush for the snow either, but it's still a week away, a lot can happen between now and then...

Posted by Blipvert on Dec-18-2006 14:21:

no matter what the weather is like, it always (ironically) snows on christmas eve.

tinfoil hat aside, maybe it is the government's ploy (by using super secret weather control devices) to propogate toque sales!1!

Stupid global warming is preventing me from skating at Harbourfront

Anyways...

No snow or flurries or maybe a centimetre or two of snow = okay.

Snowstorm = no no.

But I'll guess we'll see in a couple of days...

Come on, is anyone canadian here? lol. I used to dread the Winter too, but i'm actually fine with it now. Just dress for it then your fine, and theres lots to do. Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowmobiling, Taboozning, driving in snow storms lol. Plus, it covers all the stuff that looks bad, and makes everything look nice lol.

Only way to prove your Canadian-ness is either go wrestling with a polar bear or go ice fishing/winter camping in a blizzard.

FUCK YEAH!

When it snows we have to get the crew together again and go to trashmore like we did in the summer, but this time we'll get down the hill faster...

As for the snow, I say keep it away till February, then snow lots for a month so I can get my snowboarding/skiing/taboozing fix, then melt it away by mid march and let summer roll in early.

The I <3 global warming jokes are in bad taste IMO. Even though it's a joke, it creates a sense of light-heartedness about a very serious issue.

You may like global warming now, but did you like it 2 years ago in the summer time when it was too hot to go outside during the day and the evening for 90% of the summer?

Thank you Graham. I was about to say the same thing. Sure it will be warmer but that means you are sucking in more toxins from the air. I think I'll pass on that. There is TONS of snow in the mountains here, I can wait to go snowboarding woot! If you don't want snow move to another Country, stop wishing my snow away!
