Question PARTYING IN YOUR LATE 20's-EARLY 30's

My friend introduced me to TA this year and it has been great for getting all the party info. I've used this forum in different cities but I'm noticing that most people in the Toronto scene are pretty young! Not that there is anything wrong with that -- I'm even jealous of you all to say the least!

I guess I missed out on the whole partying thing because as a student I was too busy studying and had no $$$, then when I had $$$ I didn't have the time or I spent it travelling the world. So now I have time and $$$ and I'm ready to party but my friends are in marriage/baby mode and rarely go out anymore!

Are there other TA's out there 27+ ???

There are LOTS of us... we all get older but that doesn't mean the partying has to stop. It just slows down.

Pffft Aslan, speak for yourself!

28 and proud - 11.5 years of house adoration under my belt.

My only advice? Know when to go home.

Absolutely... you can take the man from the music, but can't take the music from the man. I DJ'd in clubs long ago, but the music brought me back, also after a long hiatus.

Pfffft fine. I have found myself slowing down a little. Some of us (Rachel) are like a good wine.

Oh yes there are...I know a couple that I met not too long ago...I won't mention any names for the sake of their privacy but these two already have kids of their own and party like there is no tomorrow.

I have no problem with seeing the older generartion out at all, but I really can't stand seeing 40 yr olds on G. (I think everyone on here has seen something like this)

Anyway, you should never worry about what others will think...who cares...go with good friends and dance like no one is watching

Judging by the shooting pain in my hips, I guess I'm not.

I am off to get some orthotics

I think partying is for all ages as long your smart about, if your party habits don't have an effect on your day to day life like you don't start to miss work cuz your too busy getting high or you fuck over people who care for you ... it's all good

I should have said, "The secret to my success? The PRE-NAP!"

Personally when i socialize on the patios or in the club generally most people are mimimum 25 yrs old id say average is like 27-28ish>the younger demographic stand out too, usually for negative reasons and the fact that we're a minority, things like being too fucked up to just attitudes in general a older or "seasoned" crowd or person is always a good time or crowd to jam with

...and that is very true...that's why I have a lot of respect for most of the TA's here...most have something going for themselves...Personally I looooooove this scene but I know when to stop...my education and job mean a lot more

I will admit that I did get out of hand a few times...you know calling into work cuz I just didn't have enough...but I am only 21, not to use this as an excuse but most of us do mature as we age...

All in all, it's all about who you go out with...I preffer dancing on mickmack's living room floor the most...I don't need the "club" itself...lol...

Posted by girllovingtvibe on Dec-18-2006 18:22:

I know a lot of 30 somethings that still got it in them

turned 28 last week, and really it all depends where you are. Like Kaskade was fun, time rolls by, before you know it, its 6am. Of course being beat doesnt stop one from takin a 30 min Frans detour for pancakes.

It's pancakes people, don't fight it.
