David Stern is such a Bitch

Posted by danlaxx1 on Dec-18-2006 18:25:

That's bullshit. David Stern like penis.

Posted by Konijn on Dec-18-2006 18:30:

isiah is a fuckwad of massive proportions. the current knicks are the only team that can start a brawl and be viewed as even scrubier clowns afterward -- at least when riley's knicks or daly's pistons started beef it was consistent with an ability to actually play D...

the only positive about isiah not being suspended is that i'll be able to boo him at the knicks-bulls game on friday...

best knicks brawl ever: knicks-suns in like '93 i think -- that punk bitch kevin johnson clothes-lined doc rivers off a screen and greg anthony came off the bench in street clothes to crack kj in the face. riley's 2000$ armani pants were ripped in the fracas...

The image of the NBA gets better and better everyday. If I were Stern I would make an example of those players and suspend them for longer. No way Isiah would have gotten away without a fine...stupid stuff like this is why I don't like the NBA

Posted by yankeeBaby on Dec-18-2006 19:10:

Damn, I lvoe carmello (I am from upstate gimme a break). I really wish he didn't get all caught up in that!

PS:I hate the Knicks (I used to love em WAYYY back in the day), they look like complete idiots right now in every fashion. YOu can tell the coach is getting beyond frustrated and nervous about his job becasue he is straight up LOSIN IT!!

Posted by danlaxx1 on Dec-18-2006 19:25:

Unfortunately for Knicks fans Isiah is here to stay, atleast for the rest of the year. He originally was given until the All Star game to get the team to .500. We all know that's not happening. But either way, he's here for the rest of the season. He sucks as a GM/coach. He should go on TNT with the Round Mound and do some commentary.

Re: Knicks/Nuggets Brawl

it'll be a while before the Knicks will be decent again...2009-10 at the very earliest when francis and marbury comes off the books

as for Stern laying down the hammer, the suspensions are very reasonable

just finished writing my sports law final and part of it dealt with nba and fights so i'm not particularly feeling sympathy toward players; such behavior is unacceptable.

Nothing compares to the Serbian fight/riot they showed on ESPN a week or two ago. That made the fight in Detroit (and New York) look like a elementary school fight.

I've seen him speak in person and he's far from being a bitch. He's VERY passionate about the NBA (and especially about the WNBA). Having to deal with this fiasco really pained him, especially with all the work he had to do with repairing the NBA's image since the Ronny A/Detroit incident 2 years ago

For me NBA died many years ago.

Its all about money and cornrows now.

Never heard him speak but I do respect the guy a lot...I'm all for NBA globalization but the WNBA should roll over and die. I'm a woman and I'm comfortble saying women's basketball is less than exciting although the NCAA tournament can get exciting at times but rarely

no - the brawl i'm talking about took place in phoenix and was in the '92-'93 season when the knicks won 60. home record that year was 37-4 (and i was at 3 of the 4 home losses...). the one you're talking about was '93-'94 season when barkley jumped over the scorers' table and went after bavetta in the tunnel.

the problems with the nba are: (1) expansion teams diluting talent (2) rule changes which in an attempt to increase scoring, have taken the game out of players hands and robbed it of its passion.

you want to make the nba better? eliminate about 4 teams and stop trying to control the league's "image."

The Nfl is going in the same direction with the Giants leading that movement.
