Alexis On Fire Concert Tonight

I'm not sure if any of you are fans of Alexis On Fire, but I just got word from my friend that works for House of Blues Concerts (where I used to work) that they are opening up a 'significant number' of tickets for sale at the door for tonight's sold out show at the Kool Haus.

I'm not sure of the exact number of tickets available, but if it wasn't very many she wouldn't have bothered to send me the note.

This is the last show in their six-show run here in Toronto, and apparently the previous performances have been very good.

So if you are a fan, it might be worth your while to head down to the KH and see if you can get your hands on some face value tickets. If you aren't, please disregard this thread.

Doors are at 7:00, and tickets are $30 with a portion of the proceeds going to the Daily Bread Food Bank. Attack in Black and the Cancer Bats are opening.

I think that's what Gord Downie from the Tragically Hip called them at the Much Music Video Awards a few years ago.
