WG2002 NOT CANCELLED....read on..

everyone, with all the shit that's gone on, all the rumours and all the speculation, Wintergalactic will still go on. Not this weekend though, I'm sorry to say, but in the next few weeks. This is not bullshit, this is not a rumour, this is the truth. Stay tuned to the website, it'll be back up tomorrow with all the info. We'll make arrangements for people to have an option regarding their tickets as well, it will all be there for you to see soon.

We have come out of this victorious in the end, and there will still be a wicked party of the same caliber and quality that you've come to expect from Wintergalactic.

ok...this is getting totally messed up... you guys had better throw one hell of a party to make up for all the bullshit that has been going on. seriously.... a lot of people are gonna be pissed at this.

but on the other hand, i think it'll relieve a few (myself included). at least this way i'll be able to attend. and this way, hopefully you'll have time TO ACTUALLY MAKE THIS THING WORK!!!!! a lot of us told you guys to wait, right from the beginning. make sure you do it right this time. you guys are hurting enough as it is right now. best of luck to ya!

All right, stop bullshiting Vivid Boy and everyone else alike... just wait and let SonicState guys clear everything up and give us the final statement about the WG2002.

First of all, no one else was probably even thinking about bringing Marco V over here (itikia, I might be wrong on this one), and now I am kinda glad this is postponed a bit... I will have enough time to finish off all the school related shite and study for the exams, and hopefully, WG will be postponed for like the last week of April.
(Also, Infinity High might be able to attend this one too )

And now with more time on their hands, the SonicState might be able to pull off a beter promotion of the event (flyers, local magazines, etc).

I just hope this event doesn't end up being canceled,... why? Because T.O. needs more parties organized by people who enjoy partying themselves, instead of just parties thrown by greedy mother f*ckers looking to squeeze as much people as possible into their venues and get ahold of as much $$$ as possible!

And about screwing the people and DJs? Muhahahhaa... that is just an ignorant comment.

Andre, you better come strong (with WG'02) or don't come at all!

heh .. wells if ur gonna postpone .. make sure u do it AFTER final exams are OVER so u guys can get some much NEEDED sales. Puttin the party in mid April is suicide seeing as how most colleges and uni's will hav kids mad studying i know that for a fact ..

heh and i promise i won't be angry at you guys if u can somehow fend off all this humiliation you hath wrought upon us from Montrealers rubbin salt in our wounds .. :]

I say postpone it indefinately...get your act back together. Start everything over again, from scratch, don't tell us anything till you have 90% of the things confirmed...leave the venue TBA...and yeah...whatever else. Doing it at the end of April may be good, but I'm thinking, that a better date for this would be around summer...the 1st day/weekend of summer perhaps?

And yes Fantom...I will definately show up Hehe, I know that I'll be 19 by the time this actually rolls around. Why? Simple postponing it by 1 or 2 or 3 weeks would be dumb because the weekend after this, S&D are here, then after them AvB, then after that, people have exams in university/college.

SS...no offence, I know this doesn't need to be said, but you guys fucked up. But, don't get mad...thats life, things screw up, and no matter how hard you try to make it better, it still goes downhill...hopefully, you guys learn from the mistakes you've made, and next time, you'll be better prepared. I don't solely blame you for all thats happend...

And also, I don't know why everyone is making such a big deal out of this...jeez, it's not like anyone of us are going to be emotionally scarred for the rest of our lives. Life goes on...you'll get your money back, or SS will compensate for it some other way. Stop crying. This sort of shit happens...go on, live your life, forget about all this. And, in 1-2 months when SS thinks that they are ready to give us the experience they promised, give them that chance...cause, afterall...after 3 flawless events, events that will be a part of the Toronto scene history...don't you think that they will deserve that chance to prove themselves again?

if they'd actually pull their heads from their asses for 5 sec to tell us what's up perhaps that would be possible. However, things no doubt will stay fucked up. My how quickly some of us turn on them, I still for one stand behind SS and I think they had to do what was best for the event, its better than having a half assed event or not having one at all. I remember when you could go to a party in a wharehouse some where in the slums of some city or in some farm feild barn out in nowhere for about 3 hours before the police would bust it up, now you all bitch about a company that has put on some of the greatest events in the past few years post poaning something because of a oversight. I dont mean to get up on my speaker box but come on people take a relaxation pill and remember the music, cause thats what we are all here for if your not then you are just another MTV generation chump.

They already explained why everything's messed up.
Did you guys go to State01? Think of how good of a party that was.
If it gets postoned then ok. But they'll still make up for it.
Last years Wintergalactic was also a great success. From my knowledge, I think this was the first event Sonic State had trouble with. (Was LiquidAdrenaline from SS?) <- I'm not sure
But all the Sonic State events I've been to have been a great experience and very fun so I hope you guys don't go on dissing them anymore. Thx!

Ive never been to 1 of your parties and dont worry about it i know that all of this business stuff always involves a risk,and sometimes things dont pan out.I can tell by the posts that you guys were putting in an effort to try and make it happen,so i respect you for that.

Ya i agree ! Everyone gets mad soo easily. I mean i understand that
everything thats happened has been frusterating, but you dont need to

Anyways, Im hoping that if the party is postponed its AFTER exams !!!

Now that I think about it, Victoria Day weekend would be great since it's the long weekend, we would have Monday to get back to normal cause tuesday is back to school...for us highschoolers.

I think it was a very good idea to postpone this because it will give you time to get everything under control and a chance to make an unbelievable event. Otherwise, it would have been hell if you left it for this weekend.
We'll just wait and see what happens.

Give the guys a break ,if they dont make good when the party finaly happens then go apeshit! Back in the day ,partys got canceled or shut down and still the good organizers would put on a great rave at a later date and youd feel like the waiting just made it better !

ya ur right im not a raver...thnx for clearing that up =)...i consider myself Eric Bau... and if im pissed off because they screwed toronto over on one of the greatest djs in the world..then let me be...they knew well in advance this party wasnt happening but they held on to Marco V so nobody else in toronto could have him...think abt it this weekend we could all be going to see marco v's debut at the guvernment or system's or somewhere else in toronto...but because SS wanted to be greedy the whole city cant go see this wonderful dj..toronto wont even be hosting his north american debut anymore...its sad if u ask me...

and how do i know that they did this? easy as this...SS doesnt have a good record with DJ's..many times they have not paid for some of the talent that have spun at their shows...they dont give deposits for dj's....im telling u theres more then meet's the eye with this promotion company but u'll see for urslef...

so does everyone get refunded..because im sure without marco v mario piu and a great venue like the ones u were gonna throw the parties in im sure u dont need 50 bucks per ticket anymore

but guys.....keep in mind everyone is coming up to finals at this time of the year....I mean some of us are basically gonna be forced to sell our tickets....I don't wanna do that, I wanna witness the party......i just hope that you don't make it during finals and disappoint many of us
