Review: Derreck Carter TIL Dec 22, 2006

I have to admit, I was not expecting the soulful and funky sounds of Derreck Carter to affect me that much. I couldn't stop pumping my fist and slamming my feet on the floor.

I just loved the jazz rhythms and the funky baselines. It was my first Derreck Carter experience and I loved it. I had a great time.

I think he went on later than expected and I am not sure why that is.

He is on my list of must see again.

Not a huge TA turnout though.

great party, the place was rammed
for some reason i thought some asian guy was derreck carter but then i saw a black guy take over right after so then i knew i was wrong.

it was another good party, til is getting better and better lol.

I would have been there in a second if I was still in Toronto this week.

I remember seeing Carter at System before they renovated. It was one of my first really memorable club nights in toronto.

I was at that one...his set was a little short..but it sure was good...damn good!

Kris(Knox) was there for a bit, but he didn't say much. All I got was
