The Snowman (Christmas movie)
The Snowman
Anyone ever watch it? Definitely has a sadness and darkness to it that you don't usually see in stuff made for kids.
Beautiful music, too.

There is a really scary movie coming out on Christmas day, I forget the name of it, but it's really scary looking!

Horror movies with few exceptions are crap, so that's not surprising.

i thought The Descent was the only horror film that passed the "eh, this shit was all right." The Hills Have Eyes came in second with a "etarded, but not TOO etarded, but that scene with the rape and burning crucifix at the same time was, like, omg, it was in my head for days" rating and everything else was by-the-books peice of shit.

you edited The Cell? did the father really put the face of that kid into the mother's pussy or was it split-screen editing/30 year old midget?

I thought The Cell was worth seeing just for the incredible sets and costumes and the atmosphere of it. Amazing stuff.

I just started at toybox, when they completed The Cell. We only edited the "dream" sequences though. You know those scenes, when JLO, would fall asleep with the patient beside her? Those scenes, and I think those scenes made the movie!
Well we did edit the whole movie Jason X, but the only scene I helped on was this throat scene, where Jason is reaching into one of his victims throats or their guts?? I dunno, it was a long time ago, even though the film just came out in 2004 or was it 2005, I worked on that scene in 2000! I refuse to watch scary movies I won't be seeing that any time soon.
As for the cell super fabulous film and I was proud to work for that company!

i saw the film a LONG LONG time ago but there is a part where j-lo is outside of a house (in the mind) looking at a memory (i think) of the bad guy. basically the father starts yelling at the kid about somehting and then put the face of the kid right between the legs of his mother's whore dress.
and then my dad made me leave the room and started my war on censorship

Great movie. I used to be able to play the theme on the piano. Might check it out on DVD!
