Sin City (x pallazo) has a house night now ???
Link to the website
So I was driving to the airport, jaming to 246, and all of the sudden i heard some great news! Sin City ... the FIRST club that i have EVER been to in my life, and had so many old memories from is now having a house night on fridays!
I realy hope this is not just a one night thing, because that venue is AMAZING. There is SOOO much potential there WOW. This can very well be an amazing friday night for the party people, as long as it doesnt get taken over by Ginginginoooooooooooos and other undesirables who frequent that club...
I dont know about anyone else, but i am excited
Who has more info on this night ??? Is it a regular thing now ? Will there be internationals ?
OMG...house night at sin city, sounds interesting. i agree, the complex has definately a lot of potential.

interesting!!! i always liked palazzo (in terms of the building) just didn't like everything else about it. If they have a house night, thtas definitely reason to check it out.

that's def some good news, it's 7 minute drive from my house
i went to sin city on friday night with manzone&strong for their closing set. we arrived around 3:30am and tim patrick was just finishing up. the venue still looks exactly the same as when it was called palazzo. it is an asian event. the promoters were some of the most hospitable that i have ever come across. the place was pretty busy for the two hours that i was there. it didnt look packed because the space is huge and it would take a ton of people to fill it. people were really digging the beats. the only complaint that i have about the place is the acoustics. the sound echoes like crazy in there but it seems to be the most noticable on the stage area.
this place will give viva fridays some stiff competition.
Been there once when it was called pallazo and i was bored to death.
I'm so pessimistic about the place that i can never see EDM grow in that place .
lol
I was there in friday. It was decent, I was expecting it to be mainly gino bambino type people, luckly it was mainly asian. I had to carry my friend out though. Next week is the main opening of house fridays. My friends , girlfriends , brother is promoting it or something like that.
Just wait till the month of Jan then we'll see if Sin City can steal the show
loooooooooooots of big changes coming up for Viva in the near future
let the competition begin.
i dono about sound or vibe, but sin city as a venue, is simply amazing. I realy hope this goes well for who ever is running this show. I live so close, i can totaly see my self spending the summmer there.
looool... First clubbing experience was at the all-ages palazzo nights, when i was just 14.
Back then they played alot of euro, freestyle, along with hip-hop.
I was surprised when I heard on the radio that their having a House night, with M&S.
The club was dead for a while, it will probably gain back its momentum. Definately won't provide a challenge for clubs such as the guvernment.
Nava just opened in the area as well. Don't know yet if they'll have house nights, but they's already started advertising on Z103. Nava is located in the old 'Rocky Mountain High' in the East Beaver Creek area. No competition for Viva though, but they're trying to fill a gap in that area.
As for Sin City... it will be interesting to watch, but there is no way you can prevent it from being Gino City. The crowd will never be like the crowds in the downtown venues. I'll stick to my Guv.

This is a huge venue but I love the feel of the place. Also the patio is SICK. fits 700ppl
I'll be djing there Jan 12 and 19th 12-2 for the drinkers
Live to air on 246
Maxx
im thinking of checking it out this friday, they got great local dj's in so it should be quite fun, its close to home and i have always thought that the place has great potential.
Anything that could be some how associated with Palazzo makes me want to run very fast in the opposite direction..

Man, i drive by that place all the time, what a monster of a complex; i can see why some might think it could rival the guv. I'm not sure of the mechanics of 'location' in terms of club venues, but i would think that the Guv still has a monopoly on 'big club' feel in terms of being right down town. Regardless, I definitely have to chk this venue out, as well as viva in the new year... glad to see some house-life coming a little north, makes for a little less driving for us northerners.
