u will find them here,

check thier website

do they have good prices?

Posted by DJ Sarah H on Mar-26-2002 21:01:

Most of the stuff there is competively priced, so yes u could say they have good prices there

IF u r going to South West London, try a Richer Sounds store.

I'll give more info when i get it.

Prices here are near double what they are in America.

If you're spending any amount of money it's probably a lot cheaper to get them shipped over from the US. When I (eventually) get some money together that's what I'll be doing. Unless I see a bargain on eBay.

Vinyl prices are decent in the UK though.

They do a profit maximising scheme, and force there employees to meet sales targets, which means when you walk in there you will be annoyed by some 16 year old sales twat

There's also a guy, living next to the river thames, that has a label and a recordstore (in his HUGE appartment)

the website is someting like www.abovethesky.com or if that doesn't work, try searching for Above the sky at www.google.com

i went there lat year, and his prices are decent, you get a cup of tea/coffee and you can listen to tunes at his own set of tt's

it was supercool

Posted by Ste on Mar-27-2002 16:55:

it is www.abovethesky.com plastic angel was advertising it somewhere else in the forums

I would agree with that, do NOT go to richer sounds stores, they tend to supply a lot of unbranded stuff, cheap yes but reliable, NO.
